No, it doesn't. You should explore the discussion thread.

Maybe, or maybe not. Clearly we don't know the exact details of how Griffith could appear as the moonlight boy during the full moon. Nor are we sure that the moonlight boy is a separate entity from Griffith, rather than it being simply Griffith transformed. But to me it looks like if Griffith can stand in the full moon without having to revert to the moonlight boy who is most likely Guts and Casca's child, then it changes a few things.
We assume that Griffith cannot control this state, and that during a full moon the child seizes control of his original body, as he has appeared to his parents in order to help them. But here we have Griffith standing in the moonlight while there is a full moon without the boy taking over. So it could be that Griffith willingly relinquishes the control of his body, during full moons since I believe that Schierke said that spirits are the strongest in that period.
As to why he would do that, well it could be a bunch of things. We saw that Griffith is still curious about Guts, as he was seen watching him in Vritannis, and in this episode something similar happens with Rickert. So if he wants to keep up, so to speak, with Guts  then what better way to send his own son. However the child was seen helping his parents so it's more likely that Griffith has to let him out once in a while, to meet his parents since he yearns for them. And during the full moon it could be that the child becomes more powerful, so it becomes harder for Griffith to contain him.
I also find the theory that the boy could be an avatar of the Flower Storm king to be really interesting, and he uses that form because it could be familiar to Casca at the very least. She sure cares about the boy and was worried that he wasn't there anymore, but I feel it would make more sense that she'd act that way if it's her own son, rather than just a manifestation.
Well I tried to wrap my head around it a bit, right now we don't have all the pieces of the puzzle,so it's kinda hard to come up with a definite answer. And sorry if I sounded definite in my first post, I was simply thinking about that possiblity, it wasn't in anyway an elaborate answer. Just me caught in my thought process.

As usual thanks Aazealh for the summary. What a great episode, glad to see Daiba play a role in the escape.
So if Griffith can stand in the full moon in his own body then that rules out the possibility of him being the moonlight boy.
So we could see Guts and co next? Awesome but I don't want to get my hopes too high...Can't wait for next episode.

Thanks for the summary.

This is pretty intense, I'm really worried about Erika.

What an interesting episode, I'm intrigued by Rakshas now more than ever.
Such an intense fight too, I love how Miura thinks action. So Rickert is leaving Falconia with Erika, and they're going to take shelter in the forteress. That's unexpected, but It would be interesting to see a new location.

Thanks Aazealh for the summary.

What an intesting development. Thanks Aazealh for the summary.

So glad to see  :rakshas: again. He is ever so  protective of Griffith. I wonder if it is really as Silat said, that it's all Locus' doing? I do not think Griffith is behind it.
And I guess it's possible that Rakshas is acting of his own accord.

I am not so sure. Locus strikes me as quite fervent, even compared to Zodd. Actually, it would have been all the more interesting if Zodd had been there because he knows Rickert.

Eh, did you really think Rickert would end up joining Griffith's ranks, just like old times?

Yeah I would have loved it if Zodd was there instead of Locus, because he has a history with the old band.
Maybe not join the new band literally, but be more involved in what happens in Falconia and maybe be one of the supporters of his politics. It looks like it's not gonna happen though, because  Rickert seems to be immune to Griffith's aura, in the way that he doesn't think that he's a savior or something like that like the others do. He still remembers him as the man he used to, and his way of dealing with Griffith is most likely based on that.

I wonder if reaction to the insult among Griffith's sworn protectors like Locus (and Zodd) might make things uncomfortable anyway... I wouldn't want them pissed at me, and even if Griffith isn't issuing an order, you still might not be safe (not caring can go both ways).
Sure the apostles can have their own saying on the matter, without Griffith being involved. Dunno about Locus but if Zodd was there he would have shred Rickert to pieces xD They could always go on their own way and attack him, at night, when he's least likely to be prepared. So maybe Falconia isn't safe for him after this. We'll see how things go.

I think this is the first time Griffith got rejected after he was reborn by someone who knew him when he was still human(not counting Guts). It's really interesting and it changes everything I was envisioning for Rickert. Guts said to him that he can't hate Griffith, since he wasn't there at the eclipse. So there was a possibility for Rickert to join Griffith. But clearly he's still thinking a lot about his fallen comrades, and why they had to die. Griffith may control the souls but it was Rickert who allowed them to rest in a way, by making the hill of swords for them.
About what he will do, I think Rickert will stay in Falconia because it's one of the "safest" places right now, but he will not be involved directly with the BoH or Griffith. I don't see Griffith sending assassins after him because he got rejected.

I wonder if Rickert started crying after slapping Griffith. Gotta admit that it was rather ballsy from him to do that, especially with Locus around, who obviously didn't appreciate it. Still it was noble of Griffith to stop Locus from intervening, like it's no big deal.I'm curious about what Rickert is going to do after this, and whether he'll stay in Falconia.

Holy moly. My eyes must be deceiving me. Rickert slapping Griffith?

Hands down best panel we've had in a while. Rickert is the man. :ubik:

Wow nice preview. I wonder what those blossoms are, or maybe it's pieces of paper from that letter he was given. Maybe he destroyed it. I really want to see Rickert stand up to his principles and not join the new band of the Hawk.

Mortal Kombat in the arena. Final boss : Femto. Unlockable characters. Ok I shut up now.

I can,t wait to know more about the conversation with Erica, Lucas and Daiba!
A Berserk themed fighter? Hell yeah! I'd pay to see that happen.
The unlockable character should be the Chimimoryo....Ok I'm done.
It looks like it's going to be a very interesting episode, we finally get a glimpse of the dome and the arena. And Griffith looks more mysterious than ever.

Thanks LOicos for the early preview. Falconia's architecture is pretty interesting, if only they could do something like that in the real world. Those holes in the arcs look suspicious. And Griffith is playing the necromancer again(or something like that). I'm interested in seeing Rickert interact with Locus.
Wonder if Griffith is going to manipulate Rickert with the ghosts of the Falcons?
Oh right, I didn't think about that. We could see Pipin and the others again, but I wonder can sacrifices come back in that form?

That piece of artwork is so lovely. As much as I like Miura's detailed art, it would be so refreshing to get these kind of illustrations from time to time.

:isidro: Wow spoilers are out already. Thanks Arles!
This is really something. The whores from Albion are back. I wonder if they'll figure out they all know Casca and Guts. And I'm really curious about that scroll Rickert is holding. Great stuff but then again we'll have to wait another month for next episode  .

All hail Miura. Finally after so many time...I'm so happy I could cry right now.

Hmm very interesting chapter. I'm very curious about Prome.
So Delos was a gladiator. I think it makes sense that he's so reckless. After all gladiators have to fight and shed blood in order to please the audiance, or maybe he's just always been reckless.
The art is gorgeous as usual. I just love how Miura draws the human body.

There we go! We were just waiting for someone to be that guy. Sucks to be you I guess. :iva:
...or that girl. Well I just hope that once Miura is done with this short story, he can focus on Berserk again and release episodes more frequently.

Wow I never thought they'd make a pachinko machine based on Berserk.I wish I could try it out, that and the Castlevania ones.

Oh don't do that. I'm sure things will be alright with the series.
Just in case, maybe we should write to Miura to know what really is going on. I'm worried he might be sick or something.

Oh lol Hagiwara is a champion when it comes to taking breaks. He's been taking one for two years now.Yet he finds the time to do illustrations for games like Lord of Vermillion.
Well I really do hope that Berserk returns  in May, and that we'll get 3 or 4 episodes before another break.

I just don't see the point of this adaptation anymore . Whether it's faithful or not, I feel it wasn't needed. Maybe if they decided to do a series based on what happens after the eclipse, it would have been worth watching .And in the end the final product is so different from the manga and the TV series that I feel like it's an entirely different series that tries to be like Berserk, but fails miserably.
All that I can say is I can't wait for this whole thing to be over. It's a nightmare.

Same here. Guts pose reminded me of that scene. Maybe they'll try to establish a parallel between the two scenes.
All that I can say is .....SNAAAAAAAAAAKE!
Lol I wonder if they'll use David Hayter for Skully's english voice. That would be cool.... or not, depending if you like Snake's voice in english .
