Hi Theoden, I think I'd be interested.
A client purchased your busts for me to paint :) Can't wait to try the head too

Anime Asylum / Re: 2016 Berserk TV series: Episode 10

This episode really shows how the team involved have got no idea about narrative and scenes. Everything is so choppy, you can't focus on a single image.
The music was loud and out of place.
The fight and the rhythm were broken up by minor stuff.
The goo was comical, not scary at all. The horde of heretics wasn't creepy, it was just silly.
I really love Berserk, but gosh, they really screwed up by giving this studio the rights to animate. I hope they don't renew the contract for a season 2 , and instead look for another studio that can do the opus some justice

Another masteful piece, theoden, its a pity I can't afford them right now :) But they're a beauty to stare at, definitely.

This is not even funny, we all know AOW's business strategy: 1 (one) statue and soooo many repaints.... When Prime 1 launches their statue, all AOW will be able to do is close their ridiculous business. ;)

exactly. AoW has lost all its appeal for those cheap dishonest marketing tactics. Things which were supposed to feel unique, now feel rehashed, and it makes us collectors feel disrespected. At least now we have more options for great and affordable berserk collectibles.

Looks very cool. I had sculpted Rakshas too, but I gave him away as a bonus to a dude who bought my Grififth figma ;)
I want to try his new "look" from the latest episode
Really digging the pose and texture

Berserk Merchandise / Re: Upcoming: threezero 1/6 articulated figure

Hi Folks, if you guys have any suggestions or criticism, I suggest we tell Threezero directly on facebook, they`re very keen to listen to fans and give feedback.

I for one, don't quite like the face on the prototype. I think they could also give him a second headsculpt with a fiercer look. Arms , armor and body look great, but the face doesn't really do it for me yet.

any thoughts ?

Environmental Lawyer ;) Just started a small consulting firm .

I hope they do release it in the end, and at a fair price. Its not licensed , so I don't think it will be more expensive than Medicom.
Overall, excellent figure and delivers everything we'd expect from a Black Swordsman Guts...

I just saw this today. I have no idea how, or when, or where to get this, but it looks amazing. Much better than the medicom figure.

And now, to make things even more ridiculous, they're throwing in a Locus smeared with poop in a "lucky" draw

Man , I'd definitely love to update the Berserk collection to good looking articulated figures. I think Threezero is the company to deliver.
They take a while to produce figures, and they have lots of lines currently. Walking dead, mass effect, the matrix ( 1:12) , titanfall, robocop, game of thrones. I hope they don't have to abandon other lines like Berserk

Haha !  :slan:

The bloody painting on this statue has no sense...

AOW and how to make money...

It looks so artificial, the blood. I don't know, I feel pity for AOW, they could have improved , and they gave us amazing sculpts, but nowadays they're trounced by everything else. Even figma have better sculpt and paintjobs.

For those who talks about texture quality and paint job - please remember how AoW statues looked on photos and how they look in real life.  :carcus:

What do you mean? I don't remember any statue being particularly off-mark , they sculpt is too crude, and not up to standard. They can't produce the same level of fidelity that is expected of the collector's market nowadays, and I for one think the paint job is fine, but nothing extraordinary ) the "blood effect" is overused and simplistic, on AOW, but having said that, I don't recall figures with that much difference from the prototype to the finished sculpt.

Heh Dadoo, the price you are refering was 10 years later.

Mine had some damage on one wing.

It had ? I've never noticed :)

I agree with some people here, its headlong, but the end result is a bit ... Okayish...
Much better than any HS Art of War has ever done, granted . But the skin texture looks odd. Maybe its the paintjob
The pose is very uninspired, granted, but its detailed enough.
I dunno, for that price I think I'll stick with either threezero or medicom, and customize him to perfection ;)
The medicom headsculpt looks great. I already plan on giving him a body modification.

Great news ! Berserk needs fresh blood and competition. Headlong was always one of the best

i wouldnt say uninspiring its a very nice statue, but its not something new like they are saying , in my opinion they shouldnt have released it, because this is going devaluate the first 1 10 kit, and something completely new would be much  better

I don't think they have the capabilities to release new sculpts in competitive prices. Once Max Factory, figma and others take hold on Berserk, AoW will have a rough time keeping up...

How uninspired. And the old one looks better , in my opinion

I bought it quite cheap during black friday sales here in Brazil. Was so cheap that I decided to give it a go. I love the original Alien movie, and I bought it only if to revisit the atmosphere and the sets. One of my best friends recently died, and his last gift to me was a deluxe Alien artbook, with the director┤s sketches, behind the cameras etc. I haven┤t played it yet, but from what I┤ve seen from previews I guess I know what to expect from such a game.

Honestly, I think comparing a Zelda game to a Bioware RPG is missing the point.

I love Zelda, and Zelda has its own formula. I was just trying to point out that Nintendo is trying to market the new zelda to this particular niche, and I fail to see how it can accomplish that.
I was stoked by the Majora's mask remake. Zelda is one of the few things which I plan on getting a tattoo of.
Anyway, I wasn't trying to bash Zelda,I'm just a bit sceptical of the way Nintendo is trying to market it, or at least how most gaming websites have been trying to push the "open world" as a skyrim like feature.

From my recent experience playing Dragon Age inquisition and Skyrim, I highly doubt Nintendo can deliver interesting content for an open world map. From the preview, the world itself looked so empty, and the enemies completely harmless. Its Zelda, and they want to target young audiences, they're not making a complex RPG. I don't see the purpose of a huge map if theres no crafting, no hunting, no exploring left to do.
In Dragon Age Inquisition, theres a purpose for scouting, you get crafting materials for armor, weapons, potions, you get collectibles etc. The enemies are tough and require a strategy.
Its Zelda, it has a big franchise name, so it will sell . But I don't feel that interested in easy gameplay.
