So I just discovered and began playing Project Legacy, an Assassin's Creed game on Facebook.  So far it's pretty basic but interesting and good at killing 5 minutes or so here and there.

-Brotherhood players will be able to unlock 25 exclusive missions in Project Legacy. As players progress through Project Legacy, they will also unlock content for Brotherhood.

I plan on getting Brotherhood myself and if this game leads to some bonus content can it really hurt?
If you would like an invite to build up a big clan feel free to let me know.

Well said Walter, thanks for letting us know.  Having seen the story myself I have to agree with you esp about  MB.  But I have to wonder about the metroids populating the games... I do not remember a lot of metroids in the other games, however there were certainly way more then 7.  For the most part they just populated the lower levels of zebes, etc, so you just didn't get to really see them until later in the games.  Other M, only haveing 7? wow...

no "SEE YOU NEXT MISSION" =  :judo:

Completely understandable, but I'm trying to stay as optimistic as possible. Though I'd be shocked to see Bioware completely fuck this game up.
True though it looks a lot less customizable at the start there, but I'll probably get it eventually.  I really doubt that this is going to be bad, but different.

I am too still waiting for Awakenings to shoot down to $20 or less...
I did buy the Witch Hunt DLC though (mainly because I had 3000 xbox points just sitting around and nothing to play) but it was fun enough.  My character was a rouge male and romantic with Morigan, so I still had the ring she gave me equipped.  It was interesting to note that she told me she stuck around because of that ring/she felt my presence.  Turns out shes got a kid if you perform the ritual with her or not, as I did not in this scenario.  You can kill her, let her go, or go with her, if you were interested.

If this is for real, there is no question that this SHOULD be better then the original, plus no reason to write Puck out of it  :puck:

I went ahead and spoiled Metroid other M for myself, since I do not have a Wii and am a Metroid fanatic...  I hope the game play is fun because the story is disappointing, and feels highly aimed at a Japanese audience, but keep us updated on your impressions.

I just beat Dead Rising: Case Zero.  A lot of fun.  So far I like Chuck Greene a little better then Frank.  Though Frank has covered wars, ya know, Chuck seems to really get things done.  I'm looking forward to Dead Rising 2 so far even though it is most likely just more of the same but in a new location.

Repetive gameplay in alan wake killed it for me. You fight the same damn thing the entire game, and the most powerful you get is a flare gun. Game was overrated and overhyped imo.
Yea generally it is, even the super hard mode was generally easy since you already know what to expect but I am a sucker for the horror genre (or physiological thriller, this was) so I had to give it a try.

Video Games / Re: Castlevania: Lords of Shadow

That's why no matter how good this game will be (and I hope it'll be incredible) I'll always want more 2D Castlevania games, because you can do things in them that are just not possible in 3D games (and vice versa).

Oh yea, I agree with you completely!
-Castlevania: Lament of Innocence was good, provided some interesting details about the introduction of the whip itself; was fun, it really was, but I still prefer the 2Ds
-Castlevania: Curse of Darkness was interesting but the story was crap.  There were also familiars you needed to level up similar to Symphony of the Night, like a gargoyle and the special one was some pumpkin guy with a knife.  Fun enough I guess but not an essential play.

I have to say my favorite is Castlevania: Rondo of Blood though, the original was great and then they released a new version on the PSP (the reason I got my PSP actually); I am a big fan of Richter and playing as Maria was fun as well.

Anyways, yea, I'm looking forward to Lords of Shadows!  Hopefully it will be as promising as it sounds; it seems to be making a lot of progress compared to other Castlevania 3Ds too.

I think it's safe to assume it will, at the very least, have a decent story.
And Patrick Stewart?
Some new screen shots have come out; looks very nice but the first two esp. remind me of Shadow of the Colossus.  The enemies look pretty interesting and dark though I am unsure how I feel about that.  Something about the original Castlevania enemies such as the venus weeds always gave me artistic inspiration somehow, however this new stuff seems more like the rest, God of War, Dante's Inferno, etc.  But I guess it's about time it got a little more grotesque.  I am not sure we'll see some classic enemies (like the Medusa heads) though I can't remember if they were in the other 3D games either.

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening

for the first time!
Great game! Hardcore nostalgia for me.  Watch out for the name change THIEF!

I played a few levels of Dead Space Extraction yesterday and it's pretty good. It's like an interactive movie explaining how things went bad before Dead Space. A movie in which you shoot monsters. Works for me. :void:

I actually rented that game and beat it; kinda short but a lot of fun.  The motion comic was also unlocked after you beat the game which was surprisingly a very fun watch!

I actually just finished playing Alan Wake on Nightmare mode; its been sitting around for awhile.  The DLC, "The Signal, Episode 1" recently came out which got me into playing it again.  It was about an hour long but pretty fun, and esp good because it was free!  Great game though a bit cheesy but sort of Steven King-ish.  After playing it awhile you get into it.  His friend in the game, Barry Wheeler, is good comic relief as well.

Resident Evil 6, or the whisper of it being a Reboot. What do they mean by that? Gameplay wise or...story? :gulps:
Aparently the original story writer had no part and wanted no part in RE5 so I'm guessing if there is a series reboot it will hopefully be him coming back and fixing things up.

Just kinda putting this out there, HUNK was just the top Umbrella commando, he didn't work for Wesker or anything like that.
exactly.  He was a fan favorite character though and thats why hes been in mercenaries.  He was just the guy to secure the T-virus for umbrella.

Where is Sherry? Where is Steve? Where is Ada? Wasn't Hunk suppost to be one of the main characters? What happened to him? How was Ada screwing over Wesker like she said, how did she do it, who did she do it for? Wasn't Steve revived from CV? Wasn't Wesker going to make him one of his minions? Wouldn't Claire have something to say about that? Why wouldn't she factor into the story as well.

-What about these freaking viruses? T-Vericonica Virus, T Virus, G Virus, and all of this freaking "DATA" they refer to in every game. What was all of that for? To tie the BOW's into machines like in UC? Wesker isn't going to use Alexia's remains he gathered to enhance himself, or another virus, cross breed them or any thing? I guess not, it comes down to the progentor virus, and even when its finally taking a role in the games, they down play it and introduce Weskers "Uroboros....or what ever." Way too many questions.

First off I'm putting this as a whole spoiler because there are many tied in here - better safe then sorry.

You need to read all the files.  They all tie in together. Basically Wesker is also manufactured by Spencer, the "wesker children".  Then as you should know Birken injected Wesker with a new kind of "virus" which really was injected into each wesker child to see which one was superior enough to survive it - Albert survived and became stronger.  But to begin with it was in Africa that Spencer and co discovered the progenorator virus which they injected into Lisa Trevor and her family - the others had no transformation and were disposed of.  Lisa helped then create the T&G Virus  while in the meantime Alexia, whom was also manufactured by her father, ended up creating the T-Veronica (named after her great grandma veronica, which whom their father used the genes of to make them out of I believe) after creating the "ancient virus" using queen ants -this "ancient virus" had no real effect on humans until it was combined with the progenorator virus, which together created the T-Veronica.  she and her brother injected their father with it and locked him the basement with no real results - he become "Nosferatu".  so then Alexia decided that she needed to take things in her own hands and at 10 years old, she injected herself with the Veronica and went into a test tube sleep in order to maintain her mental abilities along with the new powers.  When she woke up Wesker was taken aback and wanted a sample, so Wesker would collect a sample of the Veronica via Steve's dead body.  Backing up a bit here, umbrella started to kill off some of its employers mostly for profit and secrecy so they went and killed Birken, but before he died he used the G-virus on himself, this was his pride and joy and unlike the T-virus those infected would continue to transform.  Sherry, being his daughter, was who could be infected and survive, so birken went after her and tagged her.  Claire however stopped the mutation by giving her and antidote but the G-virus genes were still present in her body.  Because of this, despite Leon's attempts to protect her, Wesker, I believe, got a hold of her so that he could withdraw from her a sample of the g-virus.  Ada is basically just hired help via Wesker, she has no real motive to stick around besides that she has a thing for Leon and thus why she was brought back for RE4.  in RE4 we saw Las Plagues; the religious cult Los Illuminates discovered this "virus" i believe when some minors broke it open in some fossils, bringing the spores back to life. Anyway, this is what Ada was hired to get a sample of.  Krauser kidnapped Ashley graham and ada was called in to keep tabs on leon and snag back the virus, again, which she did.  Ada ends up giving a fake sample to wesker and gives the real sample of Las Plagus to "the Agency"  She also ends up killing Krauser and I'm sure if I were Wesker this would mark an end of our team up, she betrayed them.  Wesker managed to get the las plagus sample from the "Agency" however. and of course the T-virus created all the zombies and special infected.  This is also what is in Nemesis (and Tyrant).  In RE3 Jill is infected by Nemesis with the T-virus.  Carlos gets her the treatment and she is fine.  however, the years pass and she joins the BSAA as one of the original 11 with Chris.  The two of them run into wesker after freshly killing Spencer.  the wesker children have a type of instinctive drive to fine Spencer, so for some "odd reason" wesker had to find Spencer but Spencer leaked out information and wesker no longer needed him, killed him.  "you a god? pathetic" basically is what wesker thinks and kills him.  This is when Jill tackles wesker out the window and wesker steals her.  BSAA bankrupted umbrella so wesker manipulated Excella so that her company, TriCell, would basically revamp umbrella so that wesker could create more viruses.  He created the uroborus virus.  Wesker intended to use this on Jill but realized beforehand that it was just too poisonous and killed the host right away.  however, after putting Jill in the tube and testing her blood he found the T-virus dormant within her and through her he was able to find antibodies against the virus with he took and used to dull down the poisonous effects of the uroborous, creating an effective uroborus virus, which is what is used in RE5 and the villagers in RE5 are infected by another type/or the same type of Plagus which have been now modified to create "perfection".  There are  many types of Plagus (mostly depending on what it has infected, ex: El Gigantie Plagus, spider, leech, tentacle, crab; some of which Leon ran into), but in RE5 they have been perfected and there are 3 main types now which have different results, some favorable some not-some take awhile to take effect, some dont work as well.  And to end this Claire is now part of some ant-iumbrella movement and was last seen with leon in the airport scare in Degeneration.  WillPharma has the g-virus.  keep in mind umbrella (and now tricell who restarted umbrella or is trying to via wesker through execlla) is an underground BOW seller, they basically sell these nasty viruses like a terrorist organization.  So claire is still around but she is not any sort of special op or government agent like Leon and the others.

I hope that answers that!

Yeah, a lot of people aren't happy that the Wii is getting another rail shooter.
This is probably true but a lot of people were upset that Leon and Claire were not in Umbrella Chronicles so this new game is pretty much for RE2 Fans and if I still had my Wii I would get it because I happen to be a huge RE2 fan.

But the puzzles and stuff was kinda a pain. If it were me, I would maybe have the ship attacked, and half sunken or something. With water and pressure filling the room as you have to escape. But over all the ship stage was highly based on combat, and taking cover.
That idea is pretty good, sounds like it would b an interesting playthrough there but also sounds like it might add some kind of odd water level puzzles which people may hate.  I did however have fun with that lazer at the end and if they had to kill Wesker I guess crash landing into a volcano was one of the best extreme ways they could do it.  Also as a note, during his earlier boss fight were you free jill, I noticed that you could shoot off his glasses which he didn't like very much

Poor Barry not getting any more cameos in any games

Wooo, voted for Puck, would've voted for  :judo: but he's not really around to vote for anymore...  :judo:
That is true and I'd have to agree.  He is a good character but not when it comes to the long haul.
I also voted for Puck just because pretty much from beginning to end he has been there (technicalities aside) and I tend to like comedy relief.  It's a hard pick really esp. when you try to compare how each character effects each scenario, etc.

Casca won because she has boobs.
If boobage is ever the case I need to go with Slan's hawt tits, then maybe prostitute girl for doing the dirty in style.  But I'm getting off topic here.

Well here are a few, not so fantastic or decent in quality especially near the end I think but maybe it'll give some other people some ideas at least.

Sounds like a good idea though to add the important Berserk dates or tidbits, maybe even some of Grail's doodles or something as little pictures to add to the date part of the calender templet.
