Same situation as "Wereallmad". Pacing of Berserk is well, very Berserk like :ganishka:. That and just other interests, life, and all of that jazz. A podcast of all of us old guys? haha, I would need to re-read Berserk again. What ever happened to VHB?

Anyways, more on point for the Episode, I'm more curious on where the story goes from here. Guts finally accomplished one of his biggest goals but now what? I could see this going a few ways but I am sure Miura has his own plan that doesn't involve one of the obvious choices I am thinking.

After all these years since Guts gave Griffith that look of, "I am done with you for the time being", to get on the boat. We have an awakened Casca. I won't be a broken record on the visuals but just bask in all the wonderful things that this episode has brought.  :ubik:

Guts VS Nightmare | DEATH BATTLE!:

Logged in just to post this and happy that someone did it already. It was pretty fun to watch and I am glad that Guts beat the hell out of Nightmare.   :ubik:

One Episode is never enough to quench the thirst of Berserk.  :beast:

A quick point about the scans being early. This has actually been a thing within the last 4 to 6 months now... with Japanese publishers releasing their Magazines in China to help promote their manga's, they have been leaking the shit HELLA early. This happened with One Piece and other manga's as well.

As for the Episode itself, Miura loves that detail and it shows, the art is beautiful. This helps to just keep the illusion going on the "perfect" world that is here.

What I am curious about is that WHEN everything comes down and Griffith/Femto gives the order to chow down, how are the Apostles going to feel about it? I know some of you are thinking that its going to be an automatic thing with no remorse but I wonder about that.

During the fight with Ganishka we had seen that everyone fought together, sure they needed a bit of encouragement to do it. Now in "peace" I wouldn't find it too hard to see that  folks have developed certain relationships with respect. Thus making the future event even more awesome and gut wrenching!  :ubik:

Yea no, I am not saying that Griffith and SK/Gaisric are the same person. Just the similarities... also the really far fetched thought, will there be an event that makes Griffith take up a similar or literal mantle of SK?  :troll:

Well, you initially said he'd attack Elfhelm to secure his reign, because it's another safe place. But humans won't consider Elfhelm a safe place if they a) don't know it exists b) have to traverse the Western Sea to get there. As for the good old "Elfhelm is threat #1" theory, we'll see.

Changing subjects, I was reminded of something I honestly forgot from years ago, back in the episode 307 thread.

From Volume 10:

And in Episode 307:

We had a discussion earlier in the thread about whether any particular iconography would be replaced. Well... the answer appears to be yep.

So with this...

Original City = Gaiseric's Dream Kingdom

Falconia = Griffiths Dream Kingdom

Gaiseric (SK) = Griffith/Femto ?

If fate is a spiral and somethings are different, should this possibility not be considered? I know it seems far fetched and we all have our assumptions that Gaisric = SK but without Miura telling us with out a doubt, anything could happen until he does. Just throwing it out there in any case. Stupid? Far fetched? "How about no, Scott?"  :???:

Shootin' the Breeze / Do you want to learn Japanese?
« on: May 06, 2014, 01:35:09 AM »
Howdy folks, long time no post! As the title suggests, would you like to learn Japanese? Well I have something that you might be interested in.

A friend told me a about website that he has been using to learn Japanese, specifically Kanji, for a bit of time. After a month and some change of using it, I am a huge supporter of it now. I have learned probably 75 kanji during that time frame. That may not seem like a lot but learning a new language, especially with Kanji can be a very challenging thing.

Without further ado, I present to you, - The Crabigator

This link here, , can explain how it teaches you, the thing that got me into it was the whole "level up" aspect. You learn a kanji or a radical, type it out right after a few days, you get some "exp" that moves you closer to the next level. As an avid gamer, I automatically get into the mentality of, "I want to level up and win the game!  :zodd: "

This site is good if you are busy with other things like family, work, etc since its at a "your own pace" type of structure.

So If you want to learn some 日本語, then I would suggest you check it out. The first two levels are free and I would suggest you complete though's first before you setup a subscription.

Also if you do stick with it, here is a supplementary site that goes with WaniKani.

Its pretty easy to figure out but you just set it to the level that you are on and it will display sentences with the kanji that you should know to help with memorization and most importantly, which version of the kanji to use. Be warned though that this site is learning just Kanji, not sentences structure, so you will have to do some independent studying if you don't have that aspect down.

This thread is obviously open for any comments or questions! Happy studying!  :carcus:

Haha, you all are expecting for Skullknight to spill the beans? Have you all forgotten that when he made his getaway that he had a stowaway?  :rakshas:

If anything he will try to spill the beans and then get whacked by Rahkshas!  :casca:

I am waiting for the inevitable release of "Saints Row 5: Pimps in Space (and Time)!"

I had great fun with 3 and 4 that I can't imagine them NOT making 5.

Also I hope they release Monster Hunter 4 for the Wii-U.

As for real games that are in the pipe to come out. None =|

My my, it has been quite a bit of time since the last episode. As others have mentioned, its interesting how normal everything looks but I can't help but feel giddy knowing that there will be the inevitable "chow down" that happens .  :ubik:

I know it was mentioned, as a joke, that Daiba was here as an infiltrator but would if he actually was? Maybe he has some plan in trying to revive Ganishka?   :daiba:

Anyways, its good to see Berserk back up and running along with some familiar faces. I am wondering who else will be making a return. Also i wonder how many of the previous organizations/powers will be presented and how much "power" if at all, they still have.

Berserk makes me happy in the pants!  :carcus:

I read comic 17 in Mark Hamill's Joker voice and it sound as awesome as I thought it was, go ahead and give it a try! :carcus:

Oh cool! I started playing Suikoden as well, kinda stopped for about a week for no real reason. I got to the part where you finally get the castle. I was really enjoying it and think I'll pick it back up soon. :guts:

That game is a classic. I would like a HD remake with higher textures... for the PC!  :carcus:

I was thinking of getting the remake of Wander's from Y's on Steam... looks fun!

You're welcome guys, always happy to share.

Like you, I'm still concerned about how they're going to do Guts' battle with Boscone. What footage we've seen of the battle at Doldrey so far looks really nice, I'd hate for it to be spoilt with an underwhelming and inaccurate scene lacking Zodd's intervention. The moment Zodd throws in his sword is just brilliant, I would hate for it to be removed.
Well when it comes out here in Japan, I am sure myself and/or Starkodomo will let everyone know the juicy details... :beast:

June 23rd cant get here soon enough.  :judo:

Anyone here that played both Diablo 3 Beta and path of exile beta? Can we get a slight comparison? I am hearing mixed reviews about Diablo 3... ranging from great to super dumb'ed down.

That's terrible, eventually it will be "The Golden Age Arc I: The High Ruler Supreme King's Egg Salad" which sounds like a Denny's food option.
I can see it now. Dennys commercials featuring the cast of Berserk.

Locus the Moonlight knight prefers "Moon's" over my hammy!  :troll:

I got nothing. I'm going to bed.

Well kind of exactly my point. If anything he should be in the last movie but what do we know?!  :troll:
