Works for me, considering I only BUY the stuff once a year at AX and catch up at 5 volumes at once.

$3000 is a GIANT budget for building your own pc! PCs are much cheaper than macs. For $750 I built:

pentium 4 3.0ghz
80gb hard drive
2gb ram (2 1gb sticks)
dvd burner
geforce 6600gt
heatsink fan
green halogen light
new tower

For the record I am using the soundcard of my old system, as well as its old 40g HD too.

We're working on the DVD menus for this right now. Bound to be a popular title anyway.

Well, according to, Deadwood season 2 is set for release this May. With that, there likely would be Carnivale season 2, but I don't even think they're going to put that on DVD. :(  Give me a break, if shows like Arrested Development can get cancelled yet seen through on DVD, why not just release the 2nd season? NOW I gotta try to BT it all which'll take a few weeks if I'm lucky.

I bought Carnivale after watching one single episode, but was sold on the series before watching that just because of the DVD packaging.

I too am disgusted that it got cancelled. Does their best at doing what they can, however I doubt HBO or any station will attempt to revive. What I'm worried about is whether or not the 2nd season will make it to DVD. I have a feeling it won't. :( I think the series is MUCH better than Deadwood.

They even have a CarniCon in Woodland Hills, CA (10min from me) but is pretty pricey. Clancy Brown (Brother Justin...and voice of Mr. Krabs on spongebob :D )is a very large supporter of the fanbase. That's very kind/generous of him. Love that guy.

Sony and Microsoft are both backing Bluray with their latest gaming systems, so I think Bluray will prove long lasting. In addition, my studio is working w/Bluray features (I specifically have designed a generic template that'll be used as a default design for dvds...assuming Bluray doesn't die), so for that fact alone I'm very supportive of it. :}

I love salmon...yet, I also love burgers. The two sound like a match made in heaven, but for some reason salmon burgers sounds like a disappointment.

Berserk Miscellaneous / Re: Dark Horse - Berserk Manga information
« on: July 16, 2005, 04:37:30 PM »
I only purchase domestic Berserk manga every Anime Expo, because:
1) have all the volumes on my comp, fully translated (so there's no rush)
2) $5-10 each is way cheaper than forking out 14 bucks.

So, I recently purchased vol 4-7. I remember somebody saying VOLUME 5 was fucked up with Zodd, like they messed up the order of things or cut stuff out...does anybody remember what it is?

Yeah that is a rather odd selection for McFarlane Toys. KISS is one thing, and owns :P but Napoleon is rather unlike most of his lineup.

Silly Walter, the purpose of the link (which obviously isn't mine, ROB >:O) was to have pre-translated scans, and not a Jap one to reference text. :P

Are there any out there for Berserk? Know any place that sells them as well?

I have this one which i'd gladly sell to you for like 10 bucks. Its perfect condition, I just haven't used it in a long time.

At the end, I asked and of course, he really didn't want his picture taken. So, for personal reference and rememberance, I made a really horrible sketch that no one except me will approve of.   And no, I'm not posting it.

Because it looks like this?

Back to topic, I don't really have a summer break. I've started working at a studio called The Cannery which has been a dream job of mine for about a year, so I'm very happy working there so far. This weekend I will be attending Anime Expo 05 though, so that's probably the only real break I get.

Holy crap, well that's certainly a new one for me. If you happen to have any more information on it, please let us know.

Have you guys ever wondered how Guts would react if he met Freddy, Jason, etc

No, because I don't have that much free time on my hands.
