There is a key mechanic in Dark Souls against humanoid enemies that is not necessary to beat the game but that makes it much easier and to which Gwyn is quite vulnerable. I'm leaving it at that in case you want to find it out by yourself, but if you still draw a blank: ripostes.
I am more of butt stabbing so I usually didn't riposte much ,but actually tried for few times and managed to pull off killing him ,so thanks. Now I guess ,I have to play some ng+ , buy dlc and then wait for March  :slan:
2) It summonned some mobs from that Covenant to that world I think.
5) You can use it. In Firelink shrine there was a guy who offered some sorcery spells for you to buy and a staff or smt for you to cast them ,use also depends on how high your wisdom is. Same goes for pyromancy ,buy glove from dude in Firelink shrine and you will be able to use pyromancy.

The time has come ,I have been playing it a lot ,exploring a lot and staying away from guides and such and finally I am at Gwyn. Tried to take him on  a few times but failed ,at most I managed to get around 50% of his health. I was wondering if I should should choose equipment with higher fire def. Gwyn is quite restless and I noticed he manages to leave some fire dmg. atm I wearing Havels Helm ,Black Knights chestpiece, gloves and Havels Leg piece. All of them are around +4 ,I am using Black Knights Halbred + 5 and Tower Shield +5,ring of steel protection and Havels ring. I also have flame stoneplate ring, and other which boost resistance.

I had it pre-ordered. Not gonna spoil anything to those who haven't read it yet ,but it's good ,a lot of development for Togawa and Takahashi and also a year of waiting starts again.

Since I didn't own physical manga ,I ordered first 5 3in1 vizbig editions ,also Inoue has been going in pretty nice pace since Vagabond re-started. These chapters have felt slow paced which is not of course a bad thing. Musashi's resolve to stay behind for Iori and villagers is quite admirable. Also him training village women in latest chapter was pretty fun to read. Also I feel a new arc will begin soon with how things are slowly wrapping up.

If you have a DS Lite, the GBA versions of FFV and VI are pretty darn good, if you don't mind slightly lower-quality music tracks. But these mobile games... Let's just forget they exist, okay?
3D versions like FF III and IV are pretty good. I tried to clear that image about rpg maker like sprites out of my mind since I started that game ,but seeing that meteor close up ,damn you se :troll: ,I couldn't really notice that on my 4'' screen. Since you mentioned DS Lite ,does it have emulators or something? Since I was aiming for DS XL. Aww ,jeez sorry for offtopic.

Utter garbage editions of those games, man... Trash.
Which editions could be best then? I have been thinking about getting DS for some time since it has a nice arsenal of rpg's including quite a few FF's.

Rocking FF V on android atm. Also VI is heading for mobile devices this winter. I haven't played much GBA games since when I had it I mostly played Pokemon games and then it broke and I won't even mention snes, so I'm looking forward to all classics SE is putting out(those prices though) .

TWD was fun,I remember I bought first ep last year and then around christmas on xbox sale got all other ep's for half price and played through it in one go. I liked it ,it was pretty story driven which wasn't all that bad. Though when I started it for 2nd time making different choices, those result werent all that different as I expected. But overall it was great.
I also picked up The Wolf Among Us yesterday on XBLA ,I haven't completed first ep yet ,though I have played it for about an hour(Daamn Yoouu Great Lord Nito). I liked it so far ,it was visually pretty nice and mechanics seem a lot smoother than TWD. It felt like a pilot episode for noir show. I haven't read original graphic novel ,but I might pick it up and season pass for just 14.99$ too. Anyway ,if you liked TWD ,you will definetly enjoy this too. TWD Season 2 is around the corner too.

It is for the first 30-40 levels I'd say. By that point, there are better options, and it has everything to do with the fact that the weapon doesn't scale. I think there are a number of overpowered weapons in the game, the Drake Sword just being among them. Maybe even in the lower tier. It just gets a lot of attention because it's the FIRST one you come across, and most people (90% or so I'd say) only know about it through the Internet.
I guess it would suit me best atm ,since I prefer being more on defensive with my knight atm.  I don't think that a lot of people actually would think of attacking dragons tail ,I kinda felt like trying that but had crosbow without arrows and accidently killed the npc who was seeling arrows ,I recklessly destroyed those creates and thought he was a mob ,so yeah ,he's dead and won't respawn. Though I'll try getting some at blacksmith. I think there was some greatsword you could get fairly soon at beginning too Grave-something sword I think,I think it was releated to first covenant.

Also, it sounds like your current bonfire has stairs you can't climb up  Are you at the bonfire before the taurus demon in undead burg. You did find the shortcut under the dragon bridge right? There is a ladder you can kick down so that from that bonfire, you can just climb up the ladder and be right at the dragon.
I'm at bonfire where there are stairs next to exit which lead up to Undead Parish and that tower with Black Knight on top of it. I know only about that way under bridge which leads to those rats. I did some research and found out about Drake Sword ,I will probably try to get that tommorow since stat wise it's almost 3x stronger and requires measly stats.

There's a bonfire not too far before the mini-boss, but it requires you to have slain the dragon on the bridge. If you haven't done that, then you must press forward through the underground passage (the enemies there aren't very strong, they only rely on surprising you but if you're careful they're no trouble), and then after that through a few hallways where two or three knights are roaming. Passed that you'll find an open court with a huge knight and a few skeletons in it. On the right side of that court, opposite the cathedral, is a path going far back and then down into a building. There's a bonfire there, just above a blacksmith.
I still haven't slayed the dragon ,it's enough for me just to appear on bridge and I'm close to dying from his fire attack. I will try getting there. Also is it possible to get to the blacksmith from that bonfire ,like stairs or something? Because since bonfire I'm tied to atm is near stairs from which I can get up to Undead Parish and closest accessible Blacksmith is long waaaay off near Firelink Shrine.

Finally got around playing DS over the weekend, ah those memories of losing thousand and thousands of souls in Undead Parish. Kinda stuck atm. I am trying to farm as much as I can to decently lvl and have already saved quite a few Titanite Shards for blacksmithing and proceed with executing Black Knight but I always mess something up and I end up losing souls ;_;. I'm still not sure if I lack in executing parry at right time(no idea when that is) or just there's some small input lag. Also does anyone know where could I find Bonfire after that Boar mini boss? That underground passage with those zombies,is annoying as hell.

There might be a catch, but you can apparently play it for free on the Chrome store:
Oh ,everything was fine until I was asked to upgrade it for 14.99$ for full experience. Ok ,Bastion will wait for now.

A friend showed me 5 minutes of gameplay yesterday before we went to see a movie. I was wondering about this multiple-character system. How "realistic" is it? Are there really 3 characters walking around Los Santos at the same time? Can you use Franklin and just walk over to Michael's house, and he will be sitting there, watching tv or something? Or you meet Franklin while he's going for a walk with his dog. When my friend switched to Franklin, he had just finished doing some fitness training at the beach and he said if he would switch back to Michael, he could just be coming home from a bycicle tour with his son or stuff like that. So i was wondering, are they really in the game, doing this kind of activities, while you play the other character, or is it just a simple but clever illusion
Yes ,you can actually meet them in Los Santos, driving around,in a strip club etc. For example I was playing with Franklin and switched to Michael who was just sleeping on his cars steering wheel in an alley (or other time ,near ferris wheel starring into see and cursing his son) and then to Trevor who just came out of strip club(or other time he was drinking on a rooftop on a random shop). You can call them to hang out. While you play as one of them ,the other two will keep on living their daily lives.  So far after every switch I haven't seen same situation they were doing, all has been unique so far. Only the load times are a bit slower than in Gameplay trailer and it looks a bit different too,SWITCH times differ based on how far they are from each other, but longest one for me has been like 15sec ,nothing too tragic.

I just bought it but I didn't realize you HAD to install the first disk, which is 8gigs that I don't have (i have an older xbox). SOoooo... guess I won't be playing it.
You can just get 16GB usb stick, format it for xbox use and install 1dvd on it.

p.s. I've been playing game for last 2 days (13h gameplay so far). It's definitely beautiful ,immersive,a lot of side activities. Since I have unlocked all 3 characters for switching ,it has been crazy ,hard to decide what to do ,which mission do first with witch character etc. Handling and shooting is fun and works really well. I haven't really experienced fps drops ,only in one mission with Trevor ,I had to blow stuff up with grenade launcher and with all that happened it dropped a bit. Tons of cars ,customization (Characters, cars, weapons). Story is quite fun and has a fantastic cast of characters, voice acting. They also have taken a note from Max Payne 3,yes,no loading screens, basically ,you walk in to mission marker and it seemlessly switches to cut scene and goes out of it. Only loading screen you will see is when booting up game. Cops are a lot smarter and it's harder to get rid of 'em . Also ,only minus so far for me ,a bug when garages doesn't save my cars ...having only 700k and then buying car for 200k + 100k for customization and then seeing empty garage when booting up game next time ,that wasn't nice. Overall ,its been worth every penny and with Online upcoming ...

I will only get my copy Thursday ;( ,also there's small problem regarding xbox version - DO NOT INSTALL 2nd DISC on HDD as you will encounter texture pop ups a lot. Or you can install 2nd dvd on high speed usb drive.
