!update! I like the game so far currently at level 10, it is somewhat hard to adjust to the game if you are coming from mw2 specialy due to the recoil of the weapons. With upgrades to a weapon you can improve your accuracy tho, so that is a most and until you don't upgrade them unless you are shooting from a prone position you will feel like a noob. I also still haven't found a team to plAy tacticaly with, perhaps when I get enough points to get to a position of squad leader I can start getting a crew togheter. Btw nomad I am playing valor. Psn Id is TeslaCoilAssasin

Video Games / Who is going to play MAG (ps3)

I went ahead and reserved this game today the only downside to it is that Mass Effect 2 comes out the same day and my playing time should be split between the two (I will probably rush in to finishing ME2 first hehe). For those of you who don't know MAG is a team oriented FPS. In the game there are different types of game modes, the biggest one of them has up to 256 players. In the case of 256 players you have 1 commander which is in charge of  4 platoons (each of the with a platoon  leader) and  each platoon having 4 squads (each of them with a squad leader) and each leader has special abilities as well as the ability to put way points etc. I went ahead and played the open beta that took place on early January and the game mas mainly fun but it takes some time to get used to it if you have been playing MW2 in general liked the overall flow of MW2 better but I like playing a game which has a more complex team objective.

Anyhow who is buying this?

I liked the MAG beta enough to stop playing MW2 for a bit. Currently playing MW2 while MAG and ME2 come out.

Also, for being an ass with everyone, I didn't get laid this time. What a life lesson! Thank you BioWare!

lol too funny.

By the way I was looking at early this week and Mass Effect 1 was selected as the best XBOX 360 game.

Dare I ask, where exactly are you planning on placing the sharks with lazers attached to their heads at?  :troll:

That be sweet :)
I need to assess what I dream doing ( House Automation using voice recognition and/or RFID with allot of silly geeky extras), and  how much work, investment, maintainace it will take, finally figure out what I will end up doing (probably a variety of common sensors as well as the electrical lighting system connected a programmable logical controler and an interface to some touchpanels and a main computer with internet access ). .

Still I wouldn't mind implementing a security system that worked as a rehabilitation experience for whom ever dared step in uninvited, something maybe involving tear gas while a satanic voice screams at the asailant of how he is going to hell for breaking in to houses.

Thanks guys, it could have been worst all around they took a bit over 2k worth of stuff but they left ALLOT of stuff and some of the things they took can be replaced later on. Anyhow I am a firm beliver that bad incidents like this can do allot of good for example I have been procrastinating building a house and I have been renting so this last week I started taking the steps to start building a house in a lot I own and for a new house I am definitley designing the whole security system.

Goodbye to my couple of months old ps3.  Some asshole possibly related to the woman who cleaned my house (no force was used on entry and last week when she cleaned it was the first time I lended her my keys to clean up the house while I was at work   )  broke in and stole my ps3 slim along with some other stuff :@. Good news is they left my wii and my xbox 360 ,most likley thanks to the mess of cables I have in the back on my tv (This seems to have to discouraged them from taking my tv since it looks like they tried). I am thinking about replacing my ps3 as they left all the games with the exeption of modern warfare 2 which was on the machine. Anyhow if anybody ever goes throgh this same situation you might want to look up at this link:

It pretty much tells you what you have to do to if you get your ps3 stolen and how to get a chance to get it back if someone ever connects online with it.
So for those of you who have a PS3 I recommend you to write down your consoles MAC address this makes the process easier to go through.

Currently playing Dragon Age Origins and I probably have 10 more hours to go through, currently trying to finish some side quests to extend the life of the game  before I take the point of no return. Next in line should be Borderlands or maybe another replay through Mass Effect in time before the sequel comes out (haven't played it since I finished it the christmas it came out at).

I play my PSP a lot, my PS3 sits there only offering better graphics on my HD TV.

We are the exact opposite, I sort of hate my psp, I only use it to distract myself from turbulence when I am flying. Other than when traveling my psp sits there laughing at me and to tell you the truth now that I dont have to fly as much it sure feels like a waste of good money heck I enjoy playing iphone games more than psp games.. I personally have most of the contemporary mainstream systems with the execption of the nintendo ds (I gave it to my cousin) and my play time goes to each of them as follows:

XBOX 360 > PS3 >Wii>>iphone>>>psp.

But to each its own I guess. perhaps I just haven;'t found the game that fits me. (currently own God of War CoO, wipeout, FF disiddia (or whatever its name is)

Has anyone tried their hands on Uncharted 2 yet? It's looks amazing and is getting stellar reviews.

I bought it the day it came out here is my perspective of uncharted 2 without playing the first game. Personally I sort of got tired of Tomb Raider games perhaps 14 years ago so I was skeptic to try a game with allot of jumping around and climbing throw catacombs. The truth is that this has to be one of the best games I have played in recent years heck the game even has those moments which make you smirk because they are the kind of action sequences you have never seen in a game before for example fighting on the back of trucks  and jumping from one truck to the other as you see the truck you are on is about to blow up or fall of a cliff this is the kind of action sequence you see in an indiana jones movie and it translates great in to the game. As for the campaign I don't know how long it is in hours but I went through the whole single player in maybe 12 hours (I guess you can check this number with an online  review) of course I am not the kind of player that takes his time to find all the secret treasures and that kind of thing so if you have plenty of time to play and are only interested in the single player portion only to go through it once you can rent it . I haven't played allot the multilplayer portion but I can say it is fun and resembles allot Gears of War in terms of gameplay. One last thing I have to say is that the graphics of some of the most beautiful I have seen in games of recent years. So that's pretty much my impressions of the game, hope it helps.

Nice man, I'm about to obtain my B.S. in Mechanical and Material Science Engineering. My GF just got a job at Northrop and I'm hoping to get a job somewhere that has a lot of machining and manufacturing besides just being stuck in an office.

I actually want to go into management and start my own company when I'm 40. I want to machine custom parts and design peoples' ideas. "You think of it, I'll design it and make it."

Thats pretty cool dude engineering can be a very fulfilling profession if you find the right job for you. Right now are tough times to find a job so it is hard to be picky but one thing I tell to you when the economy turns for the better many companies will start recruiting like crazy and that might be a great oportunity to find the right work for you. In my case I used to work on IT and I really didn't like it as it wasn't right for me, so when I had the chance to interview doing the kind of thing I dreamed off I went ahead and got it. That is another thing when you go interviewing yourself for what you think your dream job is I highly recommend that you do some prepping up regarding the topics and tools that are needed for the job, always be sincere about what you know but let them know that you know the basics and would love to learn more about it.

As for making your own company I think that is a great idea and it is one of the few ways an engineer can make some serious money. Right now I am making an experiment about freelancing   on the weekends doing automation work to make some extra cash since is something I also have experience with but I don't work with it in my week job.

One last thing I would like to say is that I think is great how you sound so enthusistic about what you want to do, don't give up on that man my best wishes for you.

Currently watching south park, how I met your mother (surprisingly good show) big bang theory (I guess it's ok ) and it's always sunny that's about it looking at other peoples list makes me miss watching hbo maybe I should get it again.

I just wantes to comment back on district 9 , i thinking the movie must have been one of the movies that i have enjoyed in a while. I was at a poker game at a friends last week and was surprised how many people actually hated it, but then again even tho these are my friends they are the kind of people who thought transformers 2 is the most awesome movie ever.

The character editor is certainly the most awesome aspect of the game, not only that but you can save any character you crate and change your costume in game, for example for my El Chapulin Colorado character I have a mutant Chapulin and a cyborg Chapulin outfits as well as my regular one. I will post some pics once I get home from work :).

Here are some pics:

Yeah one of them was a failed attempt at a guts. I guess I will try fix him later and make a Griffith as well.
