That's some brilliant writing, Walter!  :isidro:

someone needs to animate that story into a flash movie :)

If so, I will. Assuming Walter approves of the idea.

:serpico:  :serpico: FUNNEY JOEK DOOD! :serpico: :serpico:

Not a joke. Just an attempt at the least likely ending. It IS unlikely isn't it?

If youre bored, you could always try filling egg shells with hydrogen and throwing them at kids. They make a nice pop when they break. The eggs that is, haven't tried what kind of sound kids make when they break.

Guts uses his new weapon, the portable microwave oven to fire deadly rays into Griffiths head causing him to get cancer. Griffith then promptly implodes. The idea of evil gets really depressed over Griffiths death and dies, taking the godhand and apostles with it.

So that's what it means! No need to dance, zooty. And don't kill any more catgirls either, they don't grow on trees you know!

so lets assume guts' sword is 6 foot long (lets make this 4 foot as its taperd), 3 inches thick and 16 inches wide

Btw, there's NO way it's 3 inches thick. Also, keep in mind that it isn't a slab (though sometimes described as one), but is sharpened so it isn't evenly thick all the way to it's edges. Your calculations are false, now dance monkey, dance!

Ah, and remember the apostle who bit Guts hand off

His name is Volkov or something. He didn't actually bite Guts' arm off, he just held him tight while Guts actually cut it off himself. (Just nit-picking  :guts:)

Well, I looked a few chapters ahead, and Guts eventually gets a Flachete (a mix between a Flak canon and a machete) from a robot (yes, a robot) fueled by the ghost of Goddo Mcmahon (his actual last-name). It is a very powerful weapon, however, as a drawback, it takes off 11 minutes off its users life every time it is fired. Ironically, this is similar to the habit of smoking ciggarettes.

The robot also glues hammers to Guts' kneecaps.

Thought it sounded a bit too freaky to be real.

The elf king restoring his arm? No way. Elves can heal wounds, not just make limbs pop back. "What? You chopped your arm off a few years back? No problem! *poof* Good as new!" no. As for the addons, does he really need anything? I really don't think there's any kind of new piece of equipment that could further aid him.

(Unless it's a portable microwave that he carries on his waist so he can fix himself a nice hot dog whenever he's hungry. It might also play a role in the final battle:
Griffith: Die Guts!
Guts: I think not! *pulls out microwave*
Guts: Take this! *microwave fires out deadly rays*
Griffith: Nooo my demigodly powers can't take it! *Griffith gets cancer in the head and implodes*

Guts accidently kills Casca in a fight againt an apostle, he says "I'm not longer going to fight", he puts the DS down, and whips out a guitar. Then out of nowhere the Idea of evil pops up and Guts begins to sing a Japanese ripoff of a John Lenon song the idea dies from the power of music, and the music turns griffith back to a good guy. Griffith goes up to Guts and says "You've done it agian", Guts says "What can I say?" they both laugh, then serpico drives up in a car with Farnese and Griff and Guts say "Serpy!", Serpico signals them to get into the car, and they drive off.

It was supposed to be LEAST likely! Geez... Am I really the only one who thinks of this as a possible outcome?

I heard some guy in the USA killed himself because of this.

Guts can wield it because he's spent his entire life fighting with a sword at least his own length in size  :guts:
Also keep in mind that the DS is drawn a little differently every time, so it may look a little bigger or smaller at times. For example in the first volume (page 20 or so) the sword has ALMOST human dimensions. And as stated before that lifting it is not much of a problem, you would only have to put it into motion and it's mass*speed would take care of business. And if Guts put his whole body into swinging it, this would surely be manageable. He DOES however use it with less difficulty than imaginable but hey, if it would really have to be so realistic then would it be so fun anymore? Honestly, think about the cat girls. You might as well go bitching on about how you don't see ghosts in the woods.

(EDIT: Oops! where did that extra "to" come from?)
