That's a gorgeous Explorer Griffith. Do you have many other guitars? I just picked up a Crimson Red Parker Fly that I absolutely adore.

I think they made a horrible choice on both Guts' and Puck's voice actors.

I don't mind Guts, but Pucks is so much more grating than I can bare. The dreamcast games voice actor is better than this if even slightly.

Well That really wasn't much better at all...

I would read them then just buy them later if it ever happens. In a few weeks I will let you know how they are.

I have heard good things about the New GM II MG, One of these days... :ubik:

I agree with you on Thunderbolt. It is a much more "real" Gundam story and it hits hard. I read most of the Scanlations and they weren't bad but now I am just gonna wait and support the English release.

I have all the scans for Crossbone, Sentinel and some others. I was holding off on reading them till I go to Japan next month. Something to read on the flight and the trains. I don't think we may ever get an official English translation unfortunately. Which sucks but I think the scans supposed to be good. Crossbone sounds like it is a really great read and same with Sentinel ( Gundam EX-s is my favorite Gundam design) I can not wait to read them.

I agree with Vixen, your stuff looks amazing, Especially the 2D hand drawn stuff. Maybe even ask around what kind of scenes people would like to see a little animation for. Maybe even use them as GIFs for peoples profiles and stuff.

And YES Lost Children would be an amazing place to start...

Also there is a Berserk fan group making digital animations of the manga. I don't have the info for them but I bet they would love your help!

It's frankly unwarranted to refer to any of these novels as "GH books". Miura just named a few characters in homage of famous Sci-Fi works, but there's not much more to it.

Fair enough, Still worth the read though.

**Random note** I was playing Wyald while listening to Spotify, and "Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen started playing. That song is literally everything Wyald stands for.

"Don't stop me now! I'm gonna have a-" " WYALD JUMP.... WYALD STOMP"

I wish he didn't say it every time....

Character Cove / Re: Was Rosine evil?

Everyone makes some amazing points.

I just finished the Lost Children Arc last night and I was not expecting to be more distraught right after the eclipse...

That being said as with people have said, Rosine knew what she was doing, maybe not the full implication but she knew enough and still acted the way she did. I would say she was evil. Childish, selfish and evil.

Started Ubik by Phillip K. Dick. Didn't read much of it till now, but i enjoyed what i read thus far.

I am just over half way with this, what do you think of it?

As Walter said not much in the way of connections but I am finding it a very interesting read.

After that I will be going through all the GH books, probably Slan next then Void. I tried listening to it as a book on tape but there was way to much going on attention wise for me to be able to even try and drive and listen to it.

Berserk only recently became my favorite, but it overtook JoJo's Bizarre Adventure which had been at the top spot for years. Kinnikuman is another huge one that I really enjoy. I am not a wresting fan by any means but I dunno something about it gets me.

As is probably apparent, I'm a big fan of Gundam, and while the bulk of the franchise lies in animated ventures, I think it's highest point is Yoshikazu Yasuhiko's Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin, a mammoth retelling of the original 1979 series in manga form. Yasuhiko was a character designer and animation/visual director for that original series, making him a natural pick for this project. Many fans of classic anime will have seen his distinctive and beautiful artwork here and there in the form of marvellous illustrations, and boy does he deliver in The Origin.

Do you have any other Gundam Manga you really enjoyed Besides the Origin? I agree it is probably the best Gundam work to be put to paper but there are many that are quite good.

BONUS FUN FACT: my father did the motion capture for TJ Combo and Chief Thunder in the original Killer Instinct. I cannot play it without laughing.

No way Really?? That is just a little silly. You get to enjoy that game in a way now that very few others would ever get to!  :isidro:

But Ruhe Strom is right, The Killer Instinct soundtrack is absolutely awesome. Same game, same style but a lot more going on. I listened to the couple tracks my physical copy came with for weeks on end.

I love you art, Some of your pieces may have been phone wallpapers for me at one point... :guts:

I would love to buy some of your art, should I PM you?? :???:

My hobbies in no particular order:

1. Collecting: Mostly Figures of things Important to me but also Music, Movies, Books and such.
2. Guitar: Been playing for years, I want to get to the point where it is more than just a hobby.
3. Reading: Mostly Comics and Manga, but I mean if I find the story interesting I will read it in a heartbeat.
4. Art: I am trying to get better and a number of different art forms, from drawing to Pixel Art to Sculpting. As well as working on my animating skills.
5. Model Kits: I build Gundam models, one of the most mind clearing relaxing things I do. I wish I had more time to work on them.

Berserk Miscellaneous / Re: How Did You Find Out About Berserk?
« on: March 07, 2017, 08:28:42 PM »
Well I have know about it for a long time. A friend of mine was into it and told me about it but Fantasy settings have never been my thing. Eventually I saw it was on Netflix and saved it to my list for viewing eventually. One day my girlfriend couldn't think of something to watch and were looking trough my list and it caught her eye.She loves fantasy stuff and knights. Next thing i know we watch all 3 movies, start the 2016 anime and are slowly buying the volumes. I absolutely love it. It has easily shot to the top of my list for favorite anything ever.
