Ok, so the Pontiff finally made his entrance... this event was predictable enough, but I couldnīt see the old man lowering himself to the bottom on making such a reverence to "The Hawk of Light", that mustīve been quite shocking for the nobles and the cardinals themselves.

So well... things are settled for Griffith now just as he had planned, obiously many nobles wonīt be very pleased with this so another noble assasination might occur (high food for apostles =D), darn, I would like to see some more political affaris before changing to Guts and co. but what the hell....

Thanks for the episode

This is incredible... unacceptable, how could the great emperor of terror be "defeated" so easily ? and why it had to be Griffith himself the one who fucked him up 112 (reffering to whatever the hell happened in page 16), I just donīt accept this, I canīt... u_u

Well there isn't much to say really, it talks about various events from the manga, but there's nothing really interesting or new in itself (as long as you've read the manga of course). That's why I haven't really bothered posting them. Anyway since you're interested I'll also post Vol. 05 from this week's YA sometime later, it's about SK and the principles of the Berserk world.

Also, here's half of the double page preview from today's YA announcing the reopening of the serialization: Preview. Found it while randomly snooping around on 2ch and forgot to post it yesterday. I'll try to get a picture of the other half, but basically it's more elephants trampling soldiers with a huge "Berserk Returns" in Japanese (which first half is on this page). Of course our Japan-based members are welcome to buy YA and scan it themselves. :beast:
Oh my gosh... this battle is gonna be fucking awesome -_-

Thanks again man

Fucking shit dude, those scans were amazing... but now Iīm beggining to feel a little bit desperate for a translation regarding what is written on the Gaisericīs pendant page x_x . Anyway, this is more than enough for me to keep on waiting, I bet this review would be really convenient for those who want to make a fast check about the main events on Berserk!

Thanks a lot man :guts:

What is truly strange is that unlike the Eclipse, the bodies in the capital are there.  If they were like the actual eclipse, the would have been eaten by the apostles. Not dried up husks with skin still on them after a century.

Those bodies have there a millenia most likely, and yeah... I also find strange the incredibly slow rotting process of those. I don`t know what happened below the Tower of Rebirth, but I`m quite sure many answers will be found when the story takes place on this location again (if ever of course).

FUCKING Incredible ! what an awesome episode, would've I never expected Guts to accept teaming up with Zodd (translation desperately needed) but it seems the circumstances gave him no other choice.

At any rate, I enjoyed a lot the scene with Grundbeld, Locus and Sonia... it seems there's a relationship growing there between Griff's generals and Sonia herself (who is human), gotta see that goddamn translation right now !!! :isidro:

P.D. So it seems that the last page finally revealed that Ganishka's fog form was product of his allmighty magic, I don't think the Emperor of Terror will take that injury kindly though.

Yup, that was merely a supposition, probably the fastest anyone could made for the lack of info. Altough I also found Wyald a peculiar Apostle before (there was a different emphasis on him, I remember what I most wanted to know is why he let himself to be captured, assuming it was that way of course) I lost interest about his origins as the plot was advancing.

Nevertheless, I`ll never lose interest on the origins of the other four God Hand (Void/Conrad/Ubik/Slan) and you might guess whom in particular (:void:), I`ve thought to even make complete pages for every of these four as soon as more details and background is known about them, and I don`t know why but I got this feeling that it will be Slan from who we`ll know more first.

Well, enough off-topic for now.

Hehe... It seems that Theresia making presence once again. :guts:

Anyway, as everyone says It would be wrong claim that Guts is an insensible man,  his life`s been full of tragedy since childbirth (getting it to the worse level during the events of the eclipse), I think all these dramatic experiences he has lived has made him not only stronger, but a more human and caring person, this can clearly be seen on his love for Casca and his affection for his new partners (specially Schierke IMO), let`s just hope a future event might not change this.

« on: July 23, 2006, 06:33:32 PM »
This thread made me remind the interest I once had about Wyald`s past and what he could possibly offer as a sacrifice since his real appearance was an old fart (maybe a pervert one due to his sick addiction to sex as an Apostle), but hell... I`ll surely never know more details about this one neither.

Seems like Griff is more inspired than usually today :guts:

Shocking episode, and what an incredible last page to finish it... now I also have my doubts about the real reason for Zoddīs "suicidal" attack, but I preffer to wait until we get more info before making any conclusion.

But the idea of the Ganishkaīs Baboon apostle form that was very original indeed (112). Thanks a lot for the scans :badbone:

Plus, any preview of a new episode is always worth of praise for fans ! every single new image gives you new perspectives of what will probably happen.

Altough lately I preffer to post after someone traduces the episode this time is special, and I know that something even bigger is coming with the next episode :void: . The only thing I can add to the comments is that Puck is not impressed as always :guts:

Thanks for the scans guys *thumbs up*

Haha, very nice one you got there Griff ! I specially like the real look the armor has (you got the effect using photoshop, isn't it?)  and though Dolph maybe isn't the perfect Guts he is still a good candidate. 8)

Great job everyone, keep it up :guts:

I'm tired of dreaming, I want to see Berserk brought to life!

OMG, that was nasty...

A Berserk live-action movie ? NFW ! Berserk is perfect as it is ! besides I already had enough with the Fist of the North Star and the Korean movie adaptations of Hokuto no Ken and I donīt want THAT happen to Berserk. u_u

Edit : Btw why hasnīt this topic been closed already ?

Character Cove / Re: Favorite Godhand?
« on: May 16, 2006, 05:42:48 AM »
Sadly, Iīm voting the only one we know in depth.

And Iīll say the reason why I like him the most, because the first time I saw the anime (of course before the manga) I could not fucking believe my eyes when seeing the Eclipse ceremony and even less what he personally did to Guts and the way he (emotionless to my sight) sacrified his feathers (the Hawks), and tought I have seen worse, much worse indeed... Iīve never seen such a level of betrayal before.

Thatīs why I like this sob the most :

I expect much more from the other Godhands too, but this seems to be a little bit far away still. Anyway, my opinion could change in a future.
