Thanks Proj, nothing bad happened to my family or friends.  Your father was really lucky to be fine, specially in the highway.

I live in Rancagua, it's located 90 km to the south of Santiago.  The worst of the earthquake was around Concepción (800 km to the south of Santiago).   Chile is a long country, so keeping the country connected always has been an issue.  After the earthquake, all the main roads collapsed in some points.

Luckily, the epicenter wasn't in Santiago which is the most populated city and the center of the country.
Sadly some people went nuts an started to loot several stores, taking anything (from basic supplies to LCD TV's), so the government send the military to the most affected zones.

There are zones whose status is unknown and it's expected that the number of casualties arises (it's like 700 at the moment).
This isn't the first earthquake and certainly is not the last that will happen here, so we are relatively prepared (all buildings follow special rules and all that).

Proj: Is your father chilean or he is just working here?

Thank you to all the people involved.  This is really great.  I agree with Puella that Mr. Shimada was really thoughtful and careful sending the reply (I thought that Walter put the letter in that plastic film).  Do you think they checked the site?

Somebody saw it?  I didn't like it very much, I do several times, but I think that the end was underwhelming.  The way they wrapped all up was too rush for me.  Leela and Fry relationship was solved in like 2 minutes, I still prefer the ending of the original run

First of all, I haven't seen the movie and I love the GN so I probably biased.  But about the No squid ending, I don't really understand how would be possible that the USSR (and the other attacked countries) don't nuke the US, and unleash a full nuclear war, after Doctor Manhattan attacked them.

I mean, Doctor Manhattan should be identified with USA like McDonald's, Coca-Cola, Superman or something like that.  Even if attacked NY, and with the world at the brink of a nuclear war, I don't think possible that the rest of the world just unite with the US like nothing happened to them.

That's why the Squid ending was so important, because it was an external force that attacked, a force that couldn't be associated with no one.

The Pros: A mostly-faithful adaptation of Neil Gaiman's comic books will please die hard fans.

An early review indeed...... :schierke:

Hahaha what the hell. I'm quite sure there's no mention of any such thing in the graphic novel.

He says jokingly something like "Just don't ask me where I was when I heard about JFK".   Anyway, the Watchmen film is something that it shouldn't happened.

Did you save grandpa, right?

Was you opponent very big?

How was that monster?

This place stills has that smell of blood.

It must be all the guts that where scattered all over the place.

How terrible.

A group of crows so black as the night gathered on the 70 corpses that were there.

I still can't forget that image.

Thanks for the scans.

Wow, the Beherit reacted like it does when the Godhand are near. Does this mean Ganishka has reached that level?

I think that it means that Ganishka changed the world, by merging the layers of the reality.

You know, you probably should do that now. After MP3 the GC controls will probably feel clunky, but they're good and the games are awesome. The first Metroid Prime in particular is really great.

I thought about it, specially after I played MP3 and reading some reviews about it, I just need to buy a GC control.

I've never played MP1 or 2, so I thought my opinion was biased, but after reading (and agreeing completely) with your posts I guess I wasn't.
The game controls are great and immersive (I just missed a quick turn back) and the graphics and sounds are just gorgeous.

Still doesn't beat Super Metroid though.......  :guts:

Speaking of vineyards, my grandparents had one.  I was around 5 years old, and there was this tube leaking some wine and I started drinking (I was really thirsty that day).  I don't remeber how much I drunk, but I do remember standing up, feeling dizzy and when started to walk I fell to the ground and I passed out.

Later I woke up in my grandma's bed with a horrible sensation in my stomach, so I puke in the bed and I fell asleep again.  After that I sleep all day.  So that was my first hangover  :serpico:

It' a bit old since it came out in November.  I found it pretty funny, and I specially like how it managed the time travels and wrapped out everything at the end.  Perhaps not at the top of the game yet, but definitely a good start.

Has someone else seen it?

Thanks for the scans.  Is the Fog of Death  intentional or is it a byproduct of Ganishka enhancement?

Thanks for the scans.  That battle was pretty fast....too fast, what happened to the "slow" pace of the story?  I wanted my 10 episode battle!!!  :troll:

Well, my father gave me my little brother's PSP.  He thought it was too much for him.  And I couldn't agree more..... :zodd:

It's a shame that there aren't many good original games for the system, though.

Thanks for the scans, Aaz.  It looks like Ganishka can change his body in fog, besides project his astral body in fog, too.   And the wind was supernatural or it just was the normal coast wind?
