Their new Guts 1/3 statue looks great, his face been greatly improved compared to their first one.
But the one that really caught my attention is the diorama with Guts/Dog and the coffin, that one looks super cool (and I'll certainly order it  :guts:).

Next up is Phantasy Star III: Generations of Doom!

My very first RPG back then and my favourite Phantasy Star (with the fourth).
I don't know if you have played it but you should try Sword of Vermilion.

I'm playing to Octopath Traveler at the moment and having a good time.
I finished Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon many weeks ago and had a great time, I've been surprised by this "little" game.
I also did the backer's demo of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night and felt a bit disappointed... The gameplay and musics are great, but damn... those backgrounds... everything looks so empty.

The RE2 remake looks pretty neat. Scratching that nostalgic itch.

Fuck yes it is. I'm impressed by the level of violence, it looks very nigthmarish.
Just imagine scenes from the original version in this new one...
Very happy to see how good Leon's face look, they didn't messed it up.

Now we just need a release date for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.

Well... it looks nice and (too) massive, but I won't buy anything from Mr."Art of Fouar" talking at the beginning of the video. I can't stand that guy, simple as that.

Fantastic episode. And yes, her dress is (well, she is) beautiful.  :iva:
Damn.... Those double-pages with Guts and Casca, pure beauty.
As usual, I'll fully enjoy this episode when I'll receive my YA magazine.

(Also, this might be a stretch, but I recently watched Twin Peaks Season 3 and (Spoilers for the end of Twin Peaks incoming) the end of this episode really reminded me of the end of the show - a slow build to a climax that is released via the catharsis of a scream. Not saying they're all that similar really, but they both gave me a similar kind of feeling. )

It's exactly what it reminded me when I saw the last panels of this episode.
Same feeling too.

Berserk Merchandise / Re: Max Factory Femto

Thanks for the pictures ! I was afraid that it would suffer from the same factory paintjob problem as their Guts' statue.
It looks amazing as you mentioned. I have to wait a little before receiving mine, but I'm very glad to see how it turned out.
I've bookmarked your Instagram account.  :guts:

Buying / Selling / Re: Ripoff Ebay seller
« on: January 06, 2018, 12:54:33 PM »
This guy sell a Femto that not have!
Is a repaint custom version (unic in the world).
My friend have it in his collection and dont sell it.
Pay attention!!!

https://m.ebay.com/itm/Berserk-figure-Griffith-FEMTO-1-10-Art-of-war-AOW-Full-Repaint-RARE-with-Box-F-S/173073214414?hash=item284bf7abce:g:CscAAOSwBkRaPi~m

This seller have also listed this repainted version of Femto on Yahoo! auctions since quite a few months... so, I highly doubt he is a "ripoff" as you say.

"...that people wants something accurate to the original material".

Many people think it's accurate, so do I. Of course it's not a 100 % manga look and yes there is a personal touch to it but that's all I need. Just one piece is  21421221x better than the shitty looking art of war line which looks as sculpted right out of Femto's ass. But some in here are the opinion it's more accurate then the P1 line or the F4F's one, oh yeah. They are Fans of Berserk from day 1 but think it's accurate, really? The only company that really tried to be accurate besides P1 and F4F is Headlong IMO, they are definitely better than AoW but also they are just a few and most of them are just in 1/8++.

I'm talking about the people (me included) who are complaining since many years about Art of War sculpts and their accuracy.
Now we are seeing the results with Prime 1 and there are still some problems of accuracy.
But many people think it's accurate and it's ok, so what should I had ?
Headlong (he is a sculptor, not a company) did some better sculpts with his hands 12 years ago than Prime 1 did with their 3D sculpts recently.

If you'll take the Black Swordsman of P1, Yes it's not the face which Guts has in the BS arc. But the face defenitely reminds me of later Arcs we see. https://imgur.com/a/e3GWY

If you say so...

I mean.. Shouldn't they create what they want to do? You're not forced to buy it, and if you want a more exact transition from 2D to 3D then you could always go with First4figures, GECCO, Art of War, Headlong, Max Factory, probably Tsume once they start pumping out some pieces or numerous unlicensed products. Saying that something is ugly is perfectly fine mate, more power to you (maybe a bit rude to people who actually like it, but you're not obligated to cater to our feelings), but don't speak for the majority of the fan- / customer base as if your opinion reflects theirs. In the end Black Swordsman Guts has sold very well and their Berserker flew off their shelves. :iva: Don't know how well Zodd has done so far, but obviously not as good as the other two.

Sure, they can release what they want. I'm just saying that I'm not pleased with what I'm seeing, if you're happy with their works, good for you.
I know I won't spend money on something that is not accurate.

Yes, thanks for sharing those pictures.
Now we can have a closer look at how they've fucked up Guts headsculpts (he looks real ugly) and Zodd face. But I imagine that's P1 "realistic" touch...
They don't understand (or care) that people wants something accurate to the original material, and not their own take on the characters.
And we're talking about statues that cost more than $1000...

I've been playing to Cuphead during the week (I'm at the third world). I have nothing bad to say about this game, just a bit hard but that's fine with me.
I'll start Nioh first DLC (just bought the season pass) when I can and I'm also looking forward to The Evil Within 2 next week.

Nice looking statue. I like the dynamic pose... but damn... those headsculpts... not only his neck have a problem, but look also at the grinning face (that looks like the Joker) and that ridiculous wide open mouth...

Managed to get an SNES Classic this morning. It's uh, exactly what you'd expect!  But I couldn't resist ó some of my favorite games of all time are on there: Super Metroid, Mario World, Zelda 3, Final Fantasy VI.

The nostalgia bit is somewhat lost on me, because I've played most of these games regularly since I was a kid. But I hope to be able to mod it (like I did with the NES Classic) to add more games, like Actraiser, Chrono Trigger, and ultimately, games that SHOULD have come over to the US but never did: Front Mission and Seiken Densetsu 3 (oh yeah, and to get rid of fucking Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts - gross).

I got mine two days ago. Fucking cool to get back to these classics... but wait... what did you just said about Super Ghouls'n Ghosts ? Why is it "gross" ? It's the best one in the entire series.

Listening to "Life Time" of Rollins Band. It's quite intense.

I was listening to "Weight" these last days.

Part 13 felt a bit like part 12, but there was some more interesting scenes this time. The arm wrestling scene was awesome (Mr.C. literally crushed Jason Voorhees' face). kyle MacLachlan really do a great job, he looks pure evil. And Audrey Horne is out of her mind, there is something really strange about her.

I'm not sure about that but maybe Prime 1 take directly the 3D sculpt from new anime without any modifications ?
If I'm correct it could be a reason why it's not accurate to manga and Miura artwork :guts:

Or maybe they are simply unable to sculpt Guts face correctly ? It's not accurate and doesn't look like his face in the manga.
The same goes for their Zodd head sculpt.

I've watched part 12 yesterday. Well...That scene with Gordon and the french woman made me have the same face as Albert during the whole scene... like we are only 6 parts before the ending and they are able to add this kind of boring scene (but some are going to call this "genius" because it's Lynch)... That, and I want to see Jacoby getting skull-crushed by the woodsmen while he's broadcasting (Like Sarah Palmer said: "And men are coming...), I can't stand his scenes anymore.

Headlong Berserker guts looks better in my opinion

I agree with you.
Everything looks off on this one, the size of the Dragonslayer, the mantle, the armor itself (look at his legs...).

Is anybody else bothered by Tammy's distracting wiggle-walk? I wonder if the actress was specifically directed by Lynch to do that. It just doesn't look natural.

I guess she's exaggerating it a little bit but I wouldn't say I'm bothered by it in my case... it's mesmerizing... :slan:
I've read a lot of hate for her character but personally, I like her.

I forgot to mention it:The locust/frog have a pointy nose. So, it could very well be "The Little Boy" or "The Jumping Man" from FWWM.
