Pretty sure that's the exact level where I stopped playing. Sure I could skip it. But no... It must be beaten. :mozgus:

I understand your crusade. :azan: Mario games always drive to me 100% them.  Missing stars are an insult to your ability.  But yeah, one of the most frustrating Mario levels I've played in a long time.  Thankfully I beat it last night with 10 seconds on the clock.  Try muting the television - It helps when you don't have the crazy "GO FASTER! OH crap oh crap!" music playing.

Wow! He looks amazing! You've made so much progress since your last update.  I really love his hair, too.  Great stuff.

I don't know what it is about it, but I thoroughly enjoyed watching the Captain Shark Rider ram into the Sea Horse.  So much for those repairs they were making, eh?  :ganishka:

That part surprised me.  The scene where the ship rises up to crash down on the Sea Horse looks very ominous.  The poor Sea Horse is going to end up limping to Elf Helm.  :judo:

The game is famous for its on-screen chaos. It was originally a Dreamcast game that spawned a DS quasi-sequel in 2008. Though, the DS game turned it from an action game into more of a puzzler. I could never get into it, personally.

Haha I can imagine why.  It's nuts.  A little too complicated for me.

Still playing Super Mario Galaxy 2.  And yeah, Screw Big Wigglers Speed Run.  I'm gonna break this damn nunchuck!

My face @ the Kara No Kyoukai bluray price - :???: I had no idea these things could be that expensive.

At least it comes with an art-book!

Favorite anime movie...Something by Miyazaki for sure.  Akira is up there.  Castle in Sky, or Howls Moving Castle.

What a sad day! Say, you don't have an affinity towards One Piece, do you? :slan:

I think the boxes are really pretty.  I haven't gotten rid of any of mine.  Whenever I get a new PVC, which isn't very often, I just put the box in the closet and shut the door.

I kind of wish they had an option for minimal packaging.  I'm not a big fan of digging the figure out of its plastic prison.  I'm going to try to find a place to recycle all mine when I finally decide to get rid of them.

Episode looks fantastic. It's nice to see Serpico getting some credit again. My favorite page so far is Isidro giving what looks like a battle cry before the action starts :isidro:

Agreed, that panel is really nice.  Isidro has a really grown up look about him there.  It looks like he's ready to live up to Guts expectations.

Damn this episode looks fucking awesome.  I am not okay with these spiders though...  :magni:

Check out Farnese, being a badass, again.  Casca, Schierke and the Moonlight boy look pretty cute together.

Shootin' the Breeze / Re: ADD/ADHD
« on: May 10, 2011, 10:54:32 PM »
When I was a kid I was diagnosed with ADD and recommended for medication, but it was kind of the diagnosis du jour at the time and the drug side effects sounded worse than the supposed problem, so my mom gave them the big N.O., for which I'm grateful. I didn't even know about this until she randomly told me as an adult when some ADD commercial or PSA came on TV, so I guess it really wasn't a problem before or since.

I have a close friend who was diagnosed during his childhood.  He took a whole bunch of medication for it.  Apparently the stuff is really bad for you, he seems to think it left him with some serious psychological problems.  He's mostly recovered from it now.  It definitely sounds like your mom made the right decision.

So yeah, just be careful and research the meds you're taking if you decide to go that route.

Mass Effect 2 with Big-Head mode on Shepard.

Hahahah, Oh man.  This is what video games are missing these days.  We need more Big head mode.  It needs to come standard with every game.

I love the dialogue options. "ARE YOU A WIZARD?"

I swear I didn't click the video for her legs :farnese:

Was there music in this video? :iva:

Nice for chicks, but we guys sort of already have one of these, and thank goodness it's not strapped to our heads.

Hahah, that's what I thought.  I'm both amused and scared at the same time. :ubik: :magni: I'm really curious who they're trying to market this to.

This is f'n amazing, nice job!!  :guts:
The Art of War, or whatever company that makes Berserk kits/statues ought to hire you already Apikitt, if they haven't done so by now. Your statues, particularly their facial features, look much more realistic and faithful to Miura's original character design than most of the sculptors' that are out there.

I dunno, I'm happy with reasonably priced garage kits myself. :guts: The likeness to the characters is some of the best of I've seen produced, professional or not.

I love the way the snake wraps around his body.  The overall composition is very classy looking.  I also commend you on the hands/cloth/water.  Those are tricky to sculpt.

Wow, that looks slick, almost like a piece of furniture when folded up.

How much are you getting paid by Dark Horse to advertise their comic books?

Hahaha, that is great.  "She's a Valkyrie"

I dunno, I'm kind of with NightCrawler on this one.  Doesn't look that interesting.  Reminds me too much of Clash of the Titans, not in a good way...more like a "Look at how awesome everything is" way.  Which isn't exactly terrible itself, just makes for a good popcorn flick.  We'll see.

The real question: Will it feature mammal punching?

So I'm playing this game called Banghai O HD on my xbox, and I've never been more confused or seen more missiles in my life.  I guess they buried the how to menu under options...that's a good spot for it, haha.  Anyways, it's pretty darn fun.

I saw this yesterday, pretty cool indeed.  And the normal version still sounds good too!

I bet we'll know after E3 is over whether or not that's a possibility. I can see that being very likely though.

Reggie: "You'll be playing Zelda on the Wii in November ... and ... in 2012, experience it again in HD."

This title would be the perfect fit for HD, I can wait. :ubik: The prospect of Mario and Zelda titles in HD makes me all giddy.

I kept waiting for a punchline, but yeah. It really was a guy taping it.

I guess I'm just spoiled by the "Will It Blend" series:

Haha, me too.  I laughed after I realized there was no punchline though.
Yeah um... I guess this might be music. Maybe.  :ganishka:

Guy's pretty good! Wobwobwobwobwob :ganishka:

Oh man, I love this clip.  Jake's laugh is the best.  This whole episode is one of my favorites.

^ Portal 2 - Cube tricks.  I'm not surprised people are already breaking the game.  Some of this stuff I would've never thought of.

Wow! what a pretty face!

I love the hair.  I think you got the tones just right.  Not too bright or dark.  The slight green hints work well too.

And that's why I'm making myself one for 20 bucks. :guts:

Haha, problem solved! It looks good.  20 bucks for a sweet T is about right.

I feel the same way I did last night, this is a good thing and more significant than some are giving it credit. When you're fighting a war on an abstract idea, killing the symbol or embodiment of it is about the best thing you can do (too bad we can't assassinate "drugs"). Beyond a dead guy in Pakistan it basically rewrites the history of 9/11, though it's too early to absorb after a decade of enmity, death, failure, and malaise. Anyway, here's hoping for the best out of this, not the worst.

Very well said!

I somehow missed that photo Walter posted.  Amazingly intense. And thanks for those links Griffith, good stuff.
