Berserk Anime / Re: 2016 Berserk TV series: Episode 1
« on: August 09, 2016, 12:41:10 AM »
Damn dude I thought you died. Best thing about these shitty animes is the chance it brings back some lost members.

Hey man. yeah, it's been a while (three years) since I been on here. I didn't watch the new Berserk movies and only made it to episode 2 of this new adaptation and I regret doing so for every reason mentioned here and on the internet. I think with the movies I would have been able to sit through them but I just can't do it with this animated series. I'm done. All they had to do was just at least do a shitty job with this adaptation and I probably would have sat through it. Hopefully the next adaptation in 20 years will be mediocre. I wonder how many spiderman reboots will there be by then.

I'm still playing this fame and rather enjoying it. I'm almost maxed items and just mid-maxing at this point. But because you can easily switch jobs and level it gives a lot for you to do on alts. Hoping they add more end game content at this point though.

Haha, looking good! I'm getting a George Lucas vibe (minus the turkey neck). :badbone:

Nothing wrong with a turkey neck.

I was bored after about 10 mins, tbh. Think I'm just not cut out for MMORPGs. :/

I just wanted to go in and start fighting and a little story. But the first 30 minutes or even an hour you're just running around town doing the same boring quests - go to from A to B then back to A to collect your reward. The story is really uninteresting to me. The fighting seems generic so far but I really do like the idea of classes and jobs so I want to give it more time. At least Tera Online the combat felt very different and fun the first time you start playing it.

I already pre-ordered and playing the open beta right now. I honestly have no idea why as I will most likely get bored within a week.

They're hit with negative reviews on Yelp, some pretty hilarious - http://www.yelp.com/biz/amys-baking-company-scottsdale?sort_by=date_desc

The price range on their menu isn't '$$$$' worth, I'm sure that's part of the backlash. 9/10 pages worth of reviews posted just yesterday haha. They clearly edited the pictures uploaded by users on there cos yesterday I noticed a couple of em with poop either in grass or on a plate.

Man, after reading the article you posted I watched both videos part 1 and 2 like twice so far. So freakin hilarious. Watching it the 2nd time knowing how crazy that lady is I just died when she said "We have three little boys but they're trapped inside cat bodys, meow~" Reference: http://youtu.be/G6LY7TJ16pg?t=11m55s

This was taken at Union Square where we met and yeah, Turk wasn't aware DK was making it, suuhhprised he was ( = mission accomplished) ^_^.

Thanks for much for showing me around NYC! I had a lot of fun. Thanks Derek for making it out as well despite a very long day for you!

Yeah! I just saw this. Even though I feel it's going to be bad I'm getting this.

Hi all!
For a few months now I've been working to build my own DS made of wood.
My plan is to make it as good as possible, painting it with the corresponding metal tone.

This is awesome! I love post like these! You've put a lot of effort into that so far, are you going to cosplay with it or just display it when you're done?

Wow, thank you Derek for these emails to AOW and I'm glad they're at least saying they're trying to improve on all the aspects you brought up.

LOL, that was great like the rest of these. You're really doing your research about us on the forums. I guess it's very fitting Incantation and I are in the same story, I'll be up in New York in April for a convention and will hanging out with Canty too! I'll definitely be checking out Kinokuniya and the Vagabond mural as well as all the other tourist stuff people do in New York - first time going so hopefully I don't get lost!!

There they saw a knight’s suit of armor, empty yet animate, sitting upon a crocodile wearing matching armor.

When I read this about the crocodile I instantly thought of Aaz. I haven't read the forums too recently so I'm not sure if it was brought up recently but this reminds me of the only picture (that I know of) that Aaz took wrestling a crocodile way back in the day before I was on this forum. Last time I looked the picture link was broke. I assume that's why you went with a crocodile with Aaz right? If so, I'm impressed by your memory or research skills!

holy shit. That's really scary to read what all happened in such a short period. I'm glad things seem to have calmed down a little bit. Taking 6 weeks off of work to take care of life stuff is probably the smartest thing you'll ever do. I'm glad you'll be able to be there with your family when they need you the most. Congratulations on your son!

Amazing pictures. Freakin love this statue.
