Speculation Nation / Re: Was Rakshas there to follow Skull Knight?
« on: April 07, 2011, 06:05:40 PM »
Great thread.

I agree to an extent. I definitely think that Rakshas is up to something & his lack of a reaction could very well have to do with something happening in the future.  As for what exactly that is, I have no real say/feelings. Tagging along with the SK is possible. SK going to elfhelm is a baseless stretch imo.

I am currently conducting a group feedback analysis to assist with my plan of attack on the nerdcore genre.

My debut venture into this genre is entitled "Mojave pimpin" and is set in the wasteland of the New Vegas world. Unfortunately NO ONE :( in my real world social network has even played the game...So acquiring applicable feedback is pretty much impossible. This is where you guys come in! In order to be part of my research and lend a helping hand, all i need is for you to listen to the song and answer a few questions. I promise it will entertain!

poast up, pm, or email me!

love always,

don't crush over people to get those dreams... or i'll stick guts on ya!  j/k. nice tattoo and the part about getting the tattoo for yourself, regardless if anyone sees it is awesome, not flashing it around everywhere. very nice.

Thanks.  :guts:

Naa, it was definitely random, nothing to do with virtues. But its cool that you got your tattoo there if it means something to you :serpico:
Again, I capitalized CONCLUSIVE for a reason.... but thanks.

First thing is, I'm not sharing any of my secrets with my likely competitors. Thanks for the tips, though. :badbone:

Thats what I'm sayin!

I got the location, logistics, and plans all ready for my 2012 underwater bunker. All I need is the $$$ and legion of followers   :ganishka:

Not the finished version... Got some minor tweaks and additions, but ya'll get the jist of it. My tracklisting will be pasted on top of it of course.

Oh hey, we've got the same laptop
Really tho, this thing has been a TROOPER. I've spilled beer into it twice and dropped it quite a few times over the past few years, thing still runs perfect.

Keeps growing.
True story.
Whoa, my mistake. It just looks a lot like last year's model of macbook pro.  :farnese:

Curious though, if that's the location of your tattoo, how are you going to maintain that area? Constant shaving?
Nah. I just let my hair grow over it. When I get a fresh cut you can kinda see it unless I go full reverse-hawk...

Of all places why there?  :???:
Well thats a good question. It can be answered in three parts:

1. When I first made my mind up to get the brand tatt'd on me, I searched for some meaning in the location of the brands within the actual manga. Nothing CONCLUSIVE could be drawn from my inspection, but it did appear that the brand located itself on each victim relative to some virtue they possessed. If I had to pick a spot that was relative, it would be my brainstem.

2. My brain is where the demons come to haunt me at night.

3. I wanted this tattoo for myself, I didn't really care if anyone saw it ever. Its a permanent reminder of quite a few struggles in my life as well as the battle I will always be fighting to reach my dreams.

Hello all. This is my first post here and its nice to be a part of the community, I heard about this site from another Berserk forum and figured I'd join since none of my friends in real life like manga/Berserk :( and I have no one to talk to it about.  lol. I'm a huge fan of the epic and think it's one of the most amazing pieces of art our generation gets to witness.

Introduction aside, I'm in the music business, run a record label, and am a musician myself. I have a few Berserk references in my tracks because I'm a cool nerd like that. I figured some of you might find novelty in Berserk making its way into "the rap game" (so to speak).

The first track can be found here:
or    (track 2)

It's the second track down and is titled, "Altered Beast". It's got some samples from the original Sega Genesis game on there for those who may recognize em. The song is basically about the evil in our world corrupting an angel/pure soul, the second verse has the reference to Berserk in it. It goes to the tune of:
"See I came to this earth
As an angel of god/
Aimed to change the facade
but I got shamed from the pod/
rearranging the plot maimed
estranged and I'm Zodd/
The immortal's complex
Ima demon of war!/
Sippin blood out of a cup
I sacrifice virgins to/
--*Power Up*--- (sample from videogame)

Second track isn't even a track, its just the verse itself. The song it's for is on a some dark suicidal note. It was a commissioned piece and my reference can be found here:

Lyrics go something like this:

"I'm Surrounded by hell
I got an octopus will wings/
eating my brains with its tail
The ground is fleshy and bloody/
Like I summoned the God Hand
I'm going Berserk/
like I'm Guts killin Zodd man..."

Thanks to all who took the time to check it out. Feed back is of course always welcome and encouraged.
