Hey ya'll,

Just thought I'd let you know, that a pretty rare Puck statue is on ebay right now.  It ends in less than 2 days on 5/17.

It may look like the same figure you've seen around in the blister packs, but this one was actually never released in the US and is the smile variant and limited to only 300 pieces.  It's also made of higher quality: resin/polystone.

Anyways, I ended up getting mine from Japan for $60 or so a year ago, but I have a feeling it won't go for that much on ebay.

One of ya'll should definitely pick it up =).

Happy bidding.

Berserk Merchandise / AOW Flying Zodd!!
« on: April 22, 2005, 10:52:53 AM »
So, there was talk of a flying Zoddo, by ART OF WAR.

Well lookie here:

Looks like it's 200mm tall, and has a retail price at 12,600 yen (roughly $120 US).

I got this information from this Yahoo Auction:

I don't know how accurate it is, but it looks pretty cool.  I wish it was bigger though!

Berserk Merchandise / What the hell?
« on: April 19, 2005, 03:52:04 AM »

22 hours left and it's at $72 bucks???  Since when has this pendant been worth so much?  Either this seller is getting really lucky or I've been completely out of it the past few months!

*****UPDATE***** SOLD!!! *****UPDATE*****

Well, as most of you know, I'm a big collector of Berserk statues, but I figure I'd let this one go since I have the AOW resin statue already (which is pretty much the same pose).

The statue I'm selling is just like the PVC one that you see all over ebay, but the main difference is this one is the Exclusive Edition, which sold out on AOW's site within a few days after it was released. It is limited to 300 pieces, and is battle damaged AND bloody. Additionally, it comes with a "relief coin" of Skull Knight.

The statue has never been opened/removed from the box. In other words, it's 100% mint.

Here are pictures of it from AOW's website:

PM me for price if interested. Cheers!

Berserk Merchandise / - discussion thread
« on: February 23, 2005, 10:06:15 PM »
Hello fellow Berserk fans and collectors!

I've been working on a website dedicated to Berserk statues and kits for the past few months and I think it's finally ready to go public =).

The link is naturally:

Currently, on the site I have 4 main sections:
1. pre-painted statues (Art of War)
2. completed kits (both mine and friends')
3. unpainted kits
4. other

Additional sections include:
1. faq
2. links

Please take your time and browse through the page.  If you have anything to say, feel free to click on the "comment" links below each set of pictures to leave a little message.

Or, you can simply discuss in this thread. =)

I hope this website can serve as a good reference for all those Berserk collectors looking to expand their collection or for all those that are trying to sell a part of their collection.  All the "estimated value" and "limitation" numbers are based solely on my experience and knowledge that I've gained during the past 4-5 years of Berserk collecting.  They are as accurate as I can make them, but of course, if you have any discrepancies, please email or PM me.  I'm no God, just a maniac in love with Berserk statues. =P

Also, if you own any completed Berserk kits, please email me pictures and I will be more than happy to add them to the site.

Lastly, feel free to save any of the pictures on the site to your hard drive.  You can even direct link them.  However, please don't edit them and remove the "" logo.  It took me days to photograph all of them and I want people to be able to visit the site if they see one of the pictures elsewhere.

(On a side note: If you really enjoy the pictures and want to make wallpapers of them, I think that'll be really neat!  In this case, for higher resolution pictures, email or PM me. =)  I'll also add your wallpaper to the site so other Berserk fans can download and use them on their desktop.)

I'm very honored that my website can be an official partner of has provided me with so much insight and Berserk information the past several years, I'm glad I have a chance to help contribute back in the best way I know how... BERSERK COLLECTING =)

Berserk Merchandise / New item on ART OF WAR website: Crystal Art: Beherit
« on: February 10, 2005, 09:17:29 AM »
It's not a statue, but a "Crystal Art: Beherit"

It's 5,800 yen (roughly $58 US), and stands 11cm high (base included).
Limited to 500 pieces for "first round of production" (I'm guessing that means they are going to make another one later... maybe an open faced one???)

Looks pretty neat, though I'm still personally debating whether or not to order one.

Anywhere, the link to the item is here:

Berserk Merchandise / Comments on my first Custom Berserk kit/statue
« on: October 25, 2004, 02:23:17 AM »
Hey ya'll,

I've bought a lot of garage kits in the past from the Wonder Festival in Japan, but I never actaully got them put together.

Recently, though, I met someone through a friend at a local comic book shop.  He offered his services and I let him to do my first kit.  Please let me know what you think.

This kit is a original custom garage kit of SkullKnight by HEADLONG.  From my sources, it appears somewhere between 20-30 of these were made, so it's pretty rare.  It's not the ART OF WAR model, though the pose looks very similar to theirs.

This is a stock photo of the kit on HEADLONG's website:

Here's how mine turned out (updated the pictures 12/04):

What's crazy is the guy had to cut off and glue every spike on Skully's armor/neck/head/legs, etc etc.

Anyways, I plan on doing business with him again, in fact, he already has my BERSERKER garage kit.  But I would really like to know what you guys think of his work.  Granted, the pictures aren't the best, but it's the most accurate I could get them to look next to the real thing.

Berserk Merchandise / New AOW statue (Grunbeld)
« on: October 03, 2004, 08:19:01 AM »

I found this on some random japanese site. Looks pretty damn tall... but can't really tell from the angle)

No info on ART-OF-WAR's website yet though.

So... last night, for the 2nd time, I had a dream about God Hand... and I'm not talking about some cool Berserk dream where Guts was kicking ass... but both times I had a NIGHTMARE about God Hand and the Apostles (with no Guts around to help) and it was vividly horrifying.

The 1st time I was one of the ones being sacrificed and literally, there were people all around me being torn apart by Apostles. The ground and the walls were also just a bunch of faces/heads, as they were in the Eclipse. I was basically running away the entire dream, trying not to get eaten or slaughtered... and it was fu*king crazy. I don't know how to describe it to make it sound as terrible as it was, but just try to keep in mind, these weren't animated looking drawings of monsters or people... but they were like real monsters as if you were to see them in reality.

Last night, however, the dream was a bit different. This time, I was the one that summoned God Hand and its followers, and it was 10 times as freaky. After the Beherit opened its face, I could hear these voices and this force wrapped around my body so I could barely breathe/move. During this time, I started to feel immense guilt because everyone around me were my friends and family. And then when I told all of them to run and hide, some sort of weird hellish chanting began and the wall/ground of faces appeared.

The suspense of waiting for the God Hand and the Apostles to appear was incredible. I thought I was going to hyperventilate and die because I REALLY WAS SCARED. I also started having flashbacks of the 1st dream I had and all those images/sounds popped into my head of people screaming and crying and I really didn't want to go through it again...

When God Hand arrived as well as the Apostles, I saw my friends and family being killed/raped... and it was the most traumatic thing ever... Everything felt and looked so real and the sheer presence of such higher demonic beings really took force over my body. The entire time I was shivering and I couldn't do a thing.

Anyways... I just thought I'd share and to see if anyone else had similar experiences. I'm not a freak or anything, haha. And I don't have any pent up rage against my friends and family. I do tend to have pretty vivid and wild dreams, but these God Hand dreams were quite disturbing. I am, however, an obssessed and die-hard Berserk fan... I guess maybe too much for my own good...

The dreams, though, somewhat changed my outlook on Berserk, because whenever I read Berserk, and whenever I see all those gruesome images of torture and rape, I stop and think about it for a while, and I let the visions sink in... and yeah, it's heavy stuff, and it gets to me... but I've never really tried picturing it as if I were living in the Berserk world... and if I was just a poor villager with no real power or skill with the sword.

It really is a horrific thing.

Hello fellow Berserk fans! Over the past 3-4 years, I've been collecting the ART-OF-WAR completed model statues for Berserk, and through all the ebay wars, yahoo auction japan fees, hundreds of emails, thousands of dollars... I'm pretty much finally done... (well at least up to date =P).

This past month has been a notable one for me, as I recently got lucky and was able to stumble upon several of the really rare statues I've been trying to find for ages. However, as you can imagine, buying these particular statues all in one month's time, took a HEAVY toll on my budget... so basically, it's time I sell some I don't need =P.

Please take note though, the main reason why I'm selling the statues listed below is because I recently purchased a limited/variant edition of the same statue from japan or somewhere else. However, many of those statues have not shipped and arrived at my home yet (I should have all of them within the next 2-3 weeks) so I won't actaully charge/ship these statues out to you guys until I actually receive my new ones in hand (in case something horrible happens and I don't ever get the ones I'm waiting for). But, I'm posting these statues up a little early because I don't know how long it will be before I get buyers for all of them, and if no one buys them here on skullknight, I will most likely post these up on ebay (which will take time for the auction to end).

So, think of it as a "pre-order" and PLEASE, if we make a deal, even though I won't make you pay until I'm about to ship the statues out, PLEASE don't just make a deal without strong intentions to pay. That will just waste my time as well as someone else who might have wanted that statue.

Okay, now on to the statues...

The most rare and prized statue I'll be selling is the Griffith Millenium Falcon - Horse Riding EXCLUSIVE edition. It's the one that has the gorgeous blue metallic tint, and that also comes with the extra character Rakshas. This one was limited to 300 in production... which is SUPER RARE.

I'm also selling a Griffith Millenium Falcon - Horse Riding EXCLUSIVE edition statue WITHOUT the Rakshas character at a reduced price, for those that want the horse statue but don't care too much for Rakshas and would rather save some $$$.

Both statues have an individual ###, have never been displayed, and come in a beautiful metal-edged box.

I'm also selling the original Japanese release of the Black Swordsman. Again, the statue has an individual ####, has never been displayed, and comes in a metal-edged box. Since this statue was the first statue ART-OF-WAR made for Berserk (and still one of the BEST ones), it's getting harder to find everyday. Don't lose your chance. =)

(the picture below is a pic of an OLDER one I used to own, but sold a year ago... just using for reference)

Another statue I'm selling is the Guts Millenium Falcon - Attack Form statue. This statue is DAMN cool, and is one of the few ART-OF-WAR statues that actually have an action pose (Guts swinging his sword). I've displayed this statue for about 2 weeks in a glass cabinet that protects from dust. I wanted to see how it'll look next to other Berserk statues (looking at the scale, etc etc.) The statue is in completely MINT condition and of course, is individually #### and comes in a metal edged box.

Lastly, I have the Guts - Hawk Soldier, and the Griffith - Hawk Soldier statues for sale as well. Both have been displayed in the glass cabinet for about a year, but like I said, it's a dust free cabinet, and I get no sunlight in my room =P (trust me... I'm super pale!) Both statues are the American release in perfect MINT condition.

And as a side item, I'm also selling a rare Beherit pendant that was NEVER sold in stores OR on the ART-OF-WAR website. It was strictly a promotional item at anime conventions and for the release of the Berserk Dreamcast video game 3 years back.

So, that's it for now. I'll probably have more to sell in the future but if you are interested in any of the statues above, please personal-message me which ones you are interested in and I will give you my asking price. Some statues I'm flexible on, but others I'm not. You can also instant message me. I'm usually on at night (Pacific Time, USA time). My screen name is: DirectDK .

By the way, I live in Northern California, USA, and I will ship internationally.

I'll accept paypal or money orders.

Please don't hesitate to ask questions. Cheers!

Berserk Merchandise / my friend's custom berserk gameboy sp
« on: July 06, 2004, 04:33:36 AM »
a friend of mine loves to be creative and try new things, and so he decided to customize his gba sp with a berserk picture (of Guts).

check it out on his site!

For all those that have the skullknight on horse statue (or to all those that might know this answer anyways), is the statue the same scale as all the other statues (like normal skullknight, femto, black swordsman, casca, etc etc)?

I'm thinking, if the skullknight horse statue IS the same scale, it must be PRETTY HUGE...

thanks ahead of time for your help.

Berserk Merchandise / what's an "artist proof" art-of-war statue?
« on: June 17, 2004, 08:12:06 PM »

Just wondering if anyone knows what an "artist proof" statue is compared to the normal Japanese releases...

Are they different/better in quality?  Same or maybe worse???

Any information would be greatly appreciated!
