It doesn't have to be a particular one, many apostles have that capability.

I wonder if that will become a part of Falconias society at one point.
If you're terminally ill, just become part of the demon soldiers and keep fighting for the good cause.

I also wonder what happens to all the Beheliths that were scattered around the world, now that most of humanity seems to be cooped up in Falconia... do you guys think there are still new Apostles born after the merging if the worlds?

That was very well written, man... it really made me visualize your fight.

The Orphan is a tough beast for sure. Oddly, I always struggled more with Ludwig until I started using the Jigsaw. That weapon is totally op.

I tried doing an Arcane build with the Kos Parasite, but I gotta admit that I never really got accustomed to that sluggish moveset.

I finally managed to kill Queen Yharnam and get Platinum about two month ago... clearing all these boring dungeons wasn't a lot of fun though (except for a few interesting new bosses).

I also think it's a shame that PvP in Bloodborne is pretty much nonexistend.

Nonetheless, I have to praise that game for it's uncompromising challenge. While I feel like I could speedrun DS3 half asleep by now, Bloodborne always kept me on my toes.

This episode sent shivers down my spine. I was literally stunned by the last page.
Never before has it been more clear how an elaborate narration can pay off over time.
I feel kinda privileged to be able to witness this story grow since I discovered the Manga 2001.

And a big thanks to for being a constant beacon of high-quality Berserk-fandom.

I finally managed to get the Rakuyo in Bloodborne. Yay!

And Hellblade is one hell if a ride... I don't think it's for everyone but it certainly manages to create a way of character-driven storytelling that I have not experienced before in a videogame.
It kinda feels like From Software tried to do a Walking-sim. Kudos to Ninja Theory for pushing this game through without a publisher.

Well said!
The scene between Jon and Jorah was very well written imo, but if the conditions in which it takes place are nonsensical, it ruins the impact. The whole mission seemed just dumb and like an enhanced version of Ramseys "20  good men"-plan.

No... just no. In Episode 4, the epicness somehow managed to make up for the plotholes and ooc-moments for me... but that didn't work this time. Do they really expect the viewers to believe that the group held out on the cliff for that long? Most of the action and suspense felt forced and unbelievable. I loved Hardhome, but this can not live up to it because the tension is too often interrupted by moments of disbelief.
I won't even comment on the Winterfell-storyline.
Bashing GoT is pretty hype right now, but it kinda seems like D&D are asking for it deliberately.

Wow. Rakshas never ceases to creep the hell out of me... his changeability is truly frightening. Though I have to admit that I still kinda miss the old mask.
Great job as always, Miura-sama!

I imagine she'd reach out and see if there are elemental entities in the area. What kind of entity would she pull from Falconia...?  :isidro:

Now that you mention it... iirc we have not seen her reach out for deeper layers since the merging of the worlds, or am I forgetting something?
It will be very interesting to see how this influences her connection to certain spiritual entities.

Hello Sancho, welcome to the fold!  :ubik:

Daibas role in the upcoming events is very interesting indeed. He seems kinda broken and demoralised at this point but the arrival of the Bakiraka has certainly picked his interest.

Another great episode, there... Rickert(and maybe Daiba) going with Silat to the secret hideout of the Bakiraka... this opens up so many new exciting possibilities.

The dimwits that complain about the pacing most likely confuse the release schedule with plot progression.
I myself consider it a great expierience to be able to follow a multi-layered, epic tale like this and see it unfold over the years.

Gotta... resist... to... download... this... zip-file...

I was looking forward to have a genuine first look when my YA arrives... but now those scans are tempting me.
Damn...  :farnese:

A completely new original work from Miura... this is even more exciting news than a new episode of Berserk!
I instantly subscribed for YA when I read this.

Subarashii!   :ubik:

The author is particularly praising the Guts/Casca-dance-scene and the Griffith/Charlotte-sex-scene... I can't believe someone actually liked those.

Seriously, why couldn't they just make a new TV-series with 26 episodes per year an stick to canon.
Every time I watch a new episode of Shingeki no Kyojin I keep thinking "they should have done Berserk like this"

I noticed a colosseum-like structure in the spread page of Falconia. Maybe Miura won't be able to stop himself from using the old manga trope of tournament battles in the future.

I'm guessing the world of Berserk is so full of things Miura yet has to show us, that he really has no need to stretch things with drawn out fighting tournaments. He already did a tournament-sequence back in volume 9 and maybe there will be some fighting in Falconias "colosseum" in the future... but most certainly not in the shounen-manga-way you are hinting at.

thanx scanbot!

neat episode indeed... i like it when we share the events from rabans or owens point of view.
makes me more eager for the point when they finally meet up again.

Everyone on this board SHOULD be buying the DarkHorse mangas though!

i rather stick with the panini-edition in my mother-tongue... thanks.
possessing every volume twice would be a bit too fanboyish for my taste an too demanding for my wallet.

couldn't a general thread about the release-dates and breaks prevent the last few pages of nearly every recent episode-thread to become a discussion/whining about the long wait?

At least they got Black Swordman right = Schwarzer Schwertkämpfer.

it's "Schwarzer Ritter" in the german panini-edition... that would be "Black Knight" in english.
but it's fine by me... "Schwarzer Schwertkämpfer" sounds really lame.

anyway, thanx for the preview, aaz.
