I couldn't figure out what was Isidro hit with on his head by that man behind him?

Looks like a carrot or a radish.
But why is he hit?

1. He stole the carrot/raddish from that man.
2. The man with the carrot/radish is the man who was robbed by Isidro at the beginning of vol. 24. they look alike

"Sure, that Griffith guy was great... but the commander of their raiders was soooo strong!".
"Oh, by the way, you were in a mercenary band too, right? How did they call you?
-... It was a long time ago, I don't remember."

that's a good one!  ;D

thanks, monsieur!

Wow, did you guys noticed after the close up scene with the hawks? right after that, for a split second you see Guts fighting the hawks??? he's fighting Judeau, Casca, Pipin and Corkus...
for me, that's the most interesting part of this trailer, indeed... besides the unknown magician.

The huge port of Vulitanis where the Vaticans troups are gathering... a mysterious Kushan gramps who sits on smoke wants to infiltrate the coast area with his pishacha... and Guts and the others are right in the middle of this... yeps, I'm also attempted to agree with you!

(Who is) the one who receives(welcomes) Guts band who have reached the *garrison where the corps of the Holy See concentrate.!?

Maybe neither Ganishka nor Azan... it could also be that the text is refering to this mysterious Daiba-guy we met in the last chapter.

for Guts: Mudvayne - Not falling

for Isidro: Weird Al Yankovich - Angry white boy polka

maybe skully has a huge bunch of skeleton-kids to fight apostles all around the world.

here's one of them:

the lost skeleton of cadavra

I liked Oh-Roh more than Japan. The story and the characters are shitty draft in both... but Oh-Roh shows more of the Berserk-artwork-predecessor-panels.
You can see a group of barbarians that looks almost like the "Black Dogs".

As we all know that the moonlight-child is the ultimate powerful being that will bring the fall of the GodHand...
It's rather obvious thet he ist going to revive our beloved Hawks from the death.
When Guts' band reaches the city they are engaged in battles with the Kushan Monsters right away... Serpico slices up some of the Crocs but they are too many and he is cornered by them. The moment the Crocs want to pierce Serpico with their spears, a throwing knive hits the gruond between them and Serpico. When he looks to the side to see who his helper is he doesn't recognise the unknown knive-thrower... but we will, as it is Judeau.
Meanwile Guts fights another wale-monster. He is still in a horrible shape so the monster hits him through a wall. It tries to grab Guts with its trunk but a huge pick smashes its trunk to bloody pudding. When Guts looks up he sees the silhouette of Pipin in front of him.
Then the moonlight-child arrives and talks to Guts: "See, fella... i've brought some of ya ol' pals here!"
They beat up the monsters together and the city is transformed into a huge party-location. Even Griffith joins in and becomes friend with Guts again. When Griff an Guts take a drink together Casca is so overwhelmed by this pictue that she gaines her memory back. Everybody is happy and they are dancing polka till dawn. Slain does a table dance for the revived Corcus, Void acts as the DJ and Ubik and Conrad are serving cold drinks.

this is exactly how it will happen... trust me, I work for the Kobayashi Corp. and know everything that will happen in Berserk for we are the supplier of Miuras brain cells.

there wasn't a lost chapter neither in the german nor in the italian issue... so why should Miura allow DarkHorse to publish it, when he didn't allow it to Panini?
Face the (ugly?) truth, guys... the lost chapter doesn't officially belong to the manga since Miura decided to cut it out.

No. 4 and No. 10 are my favourites.
I disliked the covers of the volumes 23-25 because they were to overloaded imo. I'm glad that the covers of vol. 26 and vol. 27 are returning to a more focused artwork.

Well, correct me if I'm wrong... but doesn't the fact that Miura cut this chapter out of the Manga-version mean that DarkHorse has no right to publish it even if they wanted to?

The Cover is Amazing...hope it will be soon on German out...I already got Book 26 on German and the translation was very good... 8)
they've put some of skullys words into slains mouth.. except of this little mistake, it was an accurate translation.
Don't expect the german issue of vol.27 to be released before christmas.

Speculation Nation / Re: Casca With A Brain

well, I know what speculation means, thanx for the advice.
But your speculation was one of the most pointless ones i've ever read... also it was the start-shot for a row of meanless spam-posts.
Evil spirits don't have any memory of their former life(as said in vol.18), so even if Casca would be posessed by Corcas or anybody else we know, she or Guts whouldn't be able to figure out that it's their former comrade. Besides the fact that Corcus' spirit won't have any memories of his anger against guts.

don`t take my first post too personal...

what if when she is cured she gets a new person inside her,
like a new soul if you will, not Casca anymore,
what if it was like......  vargas  :o
or corkus  :-X,
just a thought,

go on... so that we can change the title of the thread from "Casca with a brain" into "sk-net-users without a brain" !

I don't think so... imo Puck sensed a fairy-like odo on him because he comes from the upper layer of the dark realm, just like the fairies do.

True, but still Farnese provides the most reasons for any of his moves, the reason why he joined the group along with her, the reason he has resentments against Guts, to me this still makes him her dog.
When he acts completely independant, out of his own will, he would no more be her dog, he would not be tied to her any longer. And I don't think that he will ever be able to cut all ties completely with her.
It's not that kind of perverted addiction that it was before. For me, he already acts out of his own will.
Most of Guts` actions are also based on protecting Casca... would you call him her dog?
What should Serpico do? Live as a hermit?

Current Episodes / Re:Episode 243
« on: June 27, 2004, 05:14:05 PM »
well, it's not like there was a *pling* and Farnese was a totally different person. But I think she is trying her best to fight and repress them by revealing their origin to herself.

by the way: The pipe that the Kushan guy is smoking is no bong... it's a shisha.

Current Episodes / Re:Episode 243
« on: June 27, 2004, 04:35:36 PM »
If Farnese wouldn't try to be less futile he would still be her dog. He made up his mind, yes, but Farnese did too in some way, she tries to be more independant, he still ends out doing and risking everything for her. The only difference is that she doesn't command him anymore.
And if Guts had not listened to Griffith's conversation with Charlotte, he maybe would also  have remained "his dog".

The only difference for me is not that she isn't giving him orders anymore... but also that Serpico is developing his own new reasons to protect the ones near him, because the way to "wrap himself in Farnese's dark repose" no longer exists... because she changed too, as you already mentioned.

Current Episodes / Re:Episode 243

As for Serpico, well, I kinda like him and his fighting, but he's Farneses dog, so he may die a tragic death protecting her anyway. :D

Remember Serpicos quote from vol.25:
"You werent able to loosen up towards me... I can't see you free. I was simply by your side... No, I didn't think that. Half of me was like that the other part was the closed part of my soul wich longed to wrap mysels in your dark repose. But... that too is coming to an end. Because the wind was blowing... that burning ember within you, the strong wind will sweep over everything you desire. In the middle of the storm, that half of me was being torn into pieces."

Of course he still desperately wants to protect Farnese... but since he made up his mind in vol.25 I wouldn't still call him her dog.
