Even worse: Prometheus

I actually rather liked Prometheus. I don't get why it gets bashed a lot.

I wish for a new Susumu Hirasawa song for the second season, or at least I wish the studio use Sign.

Nah. Get used to HAI YOOOOOOOOOO

Their "relationship" ended when Guts attacked her.

I seem to recall Casca physically attacking Guts several times when they were both in the Band of the Hawk. She was especially good at verbally attacking him. And it seemed to only strengthen their relationship. Why are you ignoring that both Casca AND Guts have succumb to severe mental issues? Unlike Casca, Guts' hatred and extreme urge for revenge was what kept him sane, but at a cost of going berserk.

I feel if Guts never attacked Casca, Guts would have most likely never accepted anyone into his party. He knew how dangerous he was protecting her all by himself, which is why he took people in; for the sole purpose of keeping an extra eye on her and ensuring that she is safe.

I'm excited for the Hirasawa performance. i see the name 9mm parabellum bullet up there again... :schierke: will they be doing a new opening or some one as first season? i hated that opening.

Hirasawa should be an amazing show as always. He's such a genius when it comes to his music. I didn't mind the 9mm song opening for the anime. I do hope they change up the animation in the opening. Scrap the old one, make a new one. But I'm sure they won't.

A preliminary screening of the new animation series will debut at a special live event in Tokyo on April 2 . The Eclipse 2017 — Sacrificial Feast (蝕2017 ~生贄たちの宴~)

If I didn't know any better, I'd say this sounds like a trap from the God Hand :griffnotevil:

I almost forgot about the anime. I refuse to get overly excited about this. My wounds have not healed properly yet.

I'm very much a nihilist, and have been an atheist since I was very young. I view my experience in life as something very precious and my one chance to do what I can to help mankind and the one's I love.

The 2nd fight was REALLY REALLY AMAZING to me, (I hope the 2017 anime do it well...)

After subjecting myself to the 2016 anime, hoping and crossing my fingers that they wouldn't fuck up a certain scene, they did a great job messing it up. I'm not expecting much from this fight scene.

Character Cove / Re: Was Rosine evil?
« on: December 08, 2016, 08:31:14 PM »
Do any of you believe Rosine is evil?

Because of her actions as an apostle, they can be defined as evil. From what I feel, she was very unaware of her consequences because of her young age. Though, sacrificing your parents in order to become an apostle doesn't excuse her actions, even if she was abused by her father. For Rosine it was all part of becoming something from her fantasies; to escape her abusive family life and live the life she always wanted. She showed true heartfelt emotions for her friend Jill and seemed to care deeply for her, longing for Jill to run away and be with her and play together forever with no worries, which other than the Count, we see that an apostle can show sympathy and compassion which takes away from their "evil" nature.

In reality, evil is all a matter of perspective. From Rosine's perspective, Guts was the evil doer trying to take everything away from her, while in her mind her actions deemed to be helpful and good.

But since this is a story about the struggle of man vs. apostles, we have to categorize her character as someone who is evil.

It makes me upset that certain countries already have the translation, but the English release is being held back because Dark Horse wants to be responsible for the English translations :schierke:

According to, looks like our current date is set for July 18th, 2017.

Don't know how reliable that date is, since Dark Horse doesn't have any information on their website. But from past experiences Amazon holds true.

Nice! How long have you been drawing?

Will the Godhand even let him use the Beherit? Probably not, unless they REALLY wanna see Guts and Griffith fight each other.

Slan egged (no pun intended) Guts on during their encounter to use the beherit in volume 26.

Character Cove / Re: Guts and Silat

Silat will definitely play an important roll with Rickert and the story overall. Since we last left him, he left with Silat. And since Guts' party is on Elfhelm, the amount of time until they exit the island will have a large affect on the time outside the island and Silat's role with Rickert and what they can learn from each other. I foresee Guts and Silat putting aside their past experiences to achieve a common goal together.

I couldn't contain myself when Guts screamed in the Musou game. He can't decide on which emotion to use. His face says sad, but his voice says rage. :ganishka:

The main issue for me is that Guts still doesn't look like himself. His thin, elongated face makes him look awkward.

Well one thing they still haven't fixed is guts. His face is just... there's something wrong there.

Oops, didn't see your post. But I second this.

Most likely not, since the game is due to be released in 8 days in Japan.

Woof. This opening made me feel I was watching a new episode of Berserk 2016.

Let me top that

Wow these look great :ubik: Griffith looks a little like Locus to me in this drawing. Still looks amazing, though. Guts looks so exhausted and worn out. You truly see how much he's gone through the past few years. Beautiful artwork as always.
