Just pre-ordered the game. Take a guess which DLC costume I went with... hint: it wasn't this one (this just comes with Day 1 orders)

I will probably be streaming on Twitch if you guys are interested?

Hopefully the North American and European region can buy these costumes as DLC. Doubt we will have any pre-ordering bonuses.

The Videogame on Dreamcast.

Ah, never played it. Interesting.

Just a little comment:
We have 1 instance where Casca, after the eclipse, revert to sane for a moment, and tell Guts she was having a very bad dream, (you can discus that was canon or not, but at least the scene was write by Miura himself) and now we have this and the preview for 348.

Casca talked to Guts after the Eclipse? When was this?

I absolutely hated Sticker Star, and I've heard exclusively bad things about the combat system in this one so.... that's too bad.

That being said, I was always a bigger fan of Super Mario RPG and the Mario&Luigi series than the Paper Mario games.

This game heavily enforces the use of the Wii U touch pad for combat. Instead of stickers you now have cards, and you need to select the card with the touch pad, color it, swipe it towards the television, then you start the combat. It's interesting, but I understand how tedious something like this can get after a while.

Coloring things are fun though :serpico:

Any Paper Mario fans here? Just picked up Color Splash for the Wii U. I loved the Sticker Star for the 3DS, but that one got a lot of backlash from fans. This one has been getting the same bad rep even before it was released. I'm excited to play it either way.

When I first heard the Beast of Darkness a while back in an earlier trailer, he sounded like a 30 year old man making a very amateur "ROAR" sound.

This is way more promising.

@ 1:33, looks like we get to see an animated version of Zodd splitting Wyald in half. Plus Ganishka looks to be confirmed in the game, since we see Guts on top of Zodd :ubik:

This game is turning out to be the Berserk game I've always wanted.

This season 2 discussion has gone on a full blown rap battle status.

The hell happened to Casca's head in that shot? Another glitch?

Yikes... At least Guts looks awesome :guts:

A new?? preview video of Berserk Musou. It has the game's producer there, along with a couple of English speaking Berserk fans commentating on the gameplay. Good video quality.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WB714oYUnfg

It looks like they're using scenes from the Berserk films at the end of levels to transition the player to different parts of the story.

His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy
There's vomit on his armor already, Gambino's spaghetti
He's nervous, but on the surface he looks calm and ready to drop blows,
But he keeps on forgetting what he planned down,
The whole crowd goes so loud
He grits his teeth, but the legs won't move
He's choking how, everybody's joking now
The mercs run out, time's up, over, blaow!

The Eminem is strong with this one!

:ganishka: Oh my gosh! This made me laugh so hard! Picturing Guts doing rapper poses.

For some reason I can only picture Guts using the 'Blue Steel' look from Zoolander haha

Here's one for you:
Guts! - He doesn't need his name up in lights
He just wants to swing his sword whether it's day or it's night
He feels so unlike everybody else, alone
In spite of the fact that some people still think that they know him
But fuck em, he knows the merc code
It's about the salary
It's all about reality and making some coin
Surviving the battle making sure his flag stays up
That means not putting the sword down till the job is done! Let's go!

I like it a lot! Well done :guts:

Our hero Guts is found as a baby laying in the mud under his dead mother who was hung by the neck from a tree. He is later rapped as a boy because his foster dad "sold" him for that purpose.

I got lost after Guts was a rapper at a young age.

Guts is 6'8??? That's freakishly tall :ganishka: I'd say more like 6'2.

I see what they were going for. But all in all useless and unreliable information. Large portions of these are questionable. Still can't wait to receive my copy in the mail (in the next 4-6 weeks... :judo:)

I didn't know what to expect for his transformation, but I did not expect the screen to just turn black for 1 second and have Femto just standing there after.

Yeah, if you blinked you missed it.

Plus his 'tornado special' isn't very special to begin with. They already showed Zodd doing something similar. Couldn't they have come up with anything that doesn't involve wind?  :mozgus:

Wow, his transition to Femto is garbage. The most unimpressive transformation yet.

199 pages. Looks like there's not really anything new in here as most of us expected (besides the last four pages which we've already seen) but then again, I haven't gone through it thoroughly. I will say though, having only owned the Dark Horse volumes, the print quality of this is much much better in comparison.

Thanks for the sneak peaks -cause!

Oh, and I found this new interview recently. According to this interview, all playable characters have been revealed, the game is locked at 30FPS on PS4, no multiplayer, and it's unknown if some of the violent content that was taken out in the Japanese release will be in the Western release.

No Skull Knight??? No multiplayer???

I was finally able to purchase the guidebook! Now I just have to wait ~2 weeks to look at it, very excited  :ubik:

To anyone who hasn't purchased it yet but wants to; the site says there are only 20 copies left in stock, so get it now while you can!

Thanks for the update N7! I'll have to do that right now

Berserk Anime / Re: New Berserk Anime for 2016
« on: September 26, 2016, 08:17:34 PM »
I'm trying to like all this new Berserk stuff, but everything associated with the 2016 anime just seems to suck/be underwhelming.

I think most people who read the manga would agree with you. The face of this man accurately portrays me whenever I view any new official (non-Miura) Berserk anime art. I try to be happy, but it's just not the same.

Yeah, even the poses are pretty uninspired.

I'm hoping that they at least uncensor it and remove the credits from the end scenes of ep 3 and 12.  Maybe with some luck, they'll go back and polish a little bit and fix some of the awful sound effects early on in the series. Maybe even the music. But that feels like wasted hope.

Still not worth $200

Speculation Nation / Re: Will Rosine be mentioned soon?
« on: September 26, 2016, 12:08:09 AM »
Yea, I am just getting a feeling that she might be brought up for some reason.

It wouldn't be for any significant reason. As Aaz had stated, if she were brought up, it would be of no substantial importance or provide any key progress to the story. Either Puck or Guts could relate something-or-rather to Rosine, but that idea will soon fade because of how crucial Casca's story is as of now.
