Speculation Nation / Re: Diwo's questions
« on: April 02, 2015, 08:44:56 PM »
If it would be so easy, I would do it but I never was good in searching something. I don't know what words I need to put in to find an answer..

You only have to copy and paste your question (or the key words of it) then enter it in the search bar. Still though, some of your questions can only be speculated on, f.e. your question concerning the next episode. Nobody besides the author can know on whom it will be based on  and if you want to see speculations regarding it, then just go through the latest episode thread. Things will get easier once you get used to the forum, so i recommend taking a good look through it.

Podcast / Re: Skullknight.NET Podcast: Episode 60

Great Podcast guys! Really enjoyed this one.  :serpico:

I really loved that scene when Roshine was flying Jill towards Misty valley and when Jill looked down upon her village. Realizing how this small village in this big world was what she was fearing. I love the way Miura is presenting the theme of escapism in this section of the story. I also like how Miura manages to put in nice comedic moments, while still being able to create a serious tone, after doing so. The scene of Guts creating a prison out of stones to put puck in was great.  :ganishka:

I am not a big fan of the face. I updated my reply with a better picture of him, the paint application really  looks amazing though.

Painted version. Looks amazing.

I agree the armor looks great. I thinck Guts looks pretty good on the first picture, but not that great on the  2nd.
I guess many have a hard time doing a spot on face. The jaw and the nose imo are pretty much the most critic parts in re-creating a great face of Guts. The lips kinda look off too in the 2nd picture, but nonethless the helmet looks epic as hell  :beast:

Some new 3d illustration concerning the Pachinko game has been released. These are probably previews for an upcoming new pachinko game.
That first Picture of Guts reminds me alot of the painting from episode 308  :guts:

Insane Price. As others i also had my hopes up high, since it was max factory and not AOW. I never expected a price like this.  :magni:

I also just read it. The art kinda looks worse then how it was back then imo, a little bit sloppy here and there. Although it also can be due to the againg of the character's although i still would say that some panels looked pretty sloppy. Overall the comeback of vagabond was very nice, some good plot points have been touched upon, especially the ones revolving kojiro which i really wanted to see.

Seeing more of other character besides Musashi was very nice. Im Glad that Vagabond is back  :serpico:

He even has the only volume of Gigantomakhia in his Office. I just noticed that, after i got curious in seeing those berserk volumes in his office. I didn't find the pic of his office with the berserk volumes though.  :SK:

Manga Mausoleum / Re: Favorite Volume?
« on: January 03, 2015, 05:58:01 AM »
It is very hard for me to choose, since there are aspects which i like about every Volume.

Volume 3, the first appearance of the god hand. A moment which i never will forget, the way the ceremony was done and Femto making fun of Guts existence is something that i will always remember. I overall really like the first 3 volumes, since it lays  down the groundwork for the series and it also introduces alot of elements.

Volume 13. There is especially one episode which always really hit me right in my feels.  Guts running out of the cave remembering his lost
comrades was a really emotional scene. Besides that what the character's go through and the whole emotions set to this volume is outstadning.

Volume 21. The conclusion to the conviction arc. Everyhing was beautifully set up. The imitation of the eclipse started on a great way with volume 18. And ended on a great way. Griffith using the demon child as an infant was a really good decision by Miura. I am not gonna lie, i was kinda worried that a for the most part emotionless femto would be uninteresting in some ways, but the addition of the demon child again expanded his character.

Volume's 24 and 26. Volume 24 is a volume to which i often go back, finally we get answers on the world and at the same time also some questions. The world buildung was especially great in that Volume. Guts confronting Slan and wearing the berserker armor are 2 things which i really loved about volume 26 and of course the acceptace to new comrades.

Finally probably my most favorite Volume. Volume 34.
A visual spectacle. Seeing the apostles and humans fight by side and sonia's speech was something. But then the appearance of the Skull Knight and his confrontation with Femto was simply making me jump out of my seat.  The world transformation is one of my favourite scenes from the series. Seeing all kind of creatures and the glimpse at the god hand was just amazing.

It seems as if a new Pachinko will be released in 2015.
Also here you can see some new animations  :guts:

Berserk Merchandise / Re: Upcoming Gecco Berserk statue - 2015
« on: December 19, 2014, 03:19:17 PM »
Simply great news. Gecco until now produced pretty good statues and they also have good prices.
I just can imagine a great outcome, since headlong will sculpt Berserk related stuff for Gecco.
It was about damn time that other companys like good smile company and geeco corp. jump into the business of producing Berserk Statues.

Berserk Miscellaneous / Re: What Would You Ask Miura?
« on: December 10, 2014, 05:55:28 PM »
He took a trip to Europe a Dutch naval museum in Japan in 2004 to do research on ships (for all the ships in Vritannis, we can assume), and I imagine he's taken other trips to see these old locations in person.

So happy to hear this. I remember you guys mentioning this in the podcast where you talked about Miura. It makes me happy to hear that, since he mentioned this in one of his earlier comments

1993: Sword Master (1)
I don't even dare to dream about a trip to a foreign country but at least I would like to go to a spa once in my life. (Thanks again Puella  :void:)

It makes me happy that he was able to fulfill one of his dreams.

Edit: Oh i see, it isn't confirmed yet, if he ever went to europe. I hope he did one day though  :serpico:

Good news for everyone who knows German as Panini Germany announced their new spring 2015 schedule and they are planning to release Gigantomakhia in March 2015. :)

Amazing news. I will definetely buy it
