That's classic DQ for you, that is the game opening up after the credits roll haha. I would say I'm about 10 hours in, but I'm bouncing between this and a few other games. However, I'm extremely delighted to see that there's online battling. LOVE. I've beaten every Monsters game except Caravan Heart, and this is quite possibly the best one put out yet. I love my all-slime team haha

I'm playing the game as well, the problem is that your all-slime team wont last very long. If you don't get higher ranked monsters then your not gonna be able to get very far. I really hope Dragon Quest Monster: Terry Wonderland for the 3DS does away with ranks. Cause i have had to say goodbye to a team too many times :judo:

I'm glad spread all the DQ goodness. I seem to be in the minority though, a lot of people are upset over the game being online :/ I'm only a bit concerned because I dont fully understand how the battles will play out now, but otherwise I'm very excited

That's neat.  Would you like to elaborate?  What influenced your decision?

Sorry I was on my iPad.

Um, there were a couple of things that influenced me but one thing that really lingered in my mind was how every religion said they were right. All I could think to myself was "They can't all be right", all thses holy books seemed too have a lot of supernatural elements to them as well, things that don't ever happen now a days.

The bible itself seemed so cleverly crafted,  it really did a good job of cover all it's bases so no one should doubt it.Of course though evolution had a huge part in convincing me.

I was raised catholic and am now a proud atheist. If you're having trouble imagining a world without Yaweh, then realize this, you have gone your whole life without believing in; Allah, Zeus, Horus, etc... you just have one more to not believe in.

I myself am hoping that this footage is just leftovers from the commercials. Granted that's assuming that the footage for the commercial was just put together from very early work, maybe from a proof of concept animation to get the films green lit.

Griffith's calmness as he looks at Guts bothers me, he looks like he's not feeling anything. They also both look older than they should, Guts' face look particularly large :/

I think Goku is the type to fight it out with Superman out of good sportsmanship and his enjoyment in fighting.you're no fun

heh I suppose you are right. Goku's Kryptonite is his competitiveness

From the impressions that I've heard they are trying to position the NGP as the machine to take the games you are currently playing on PS3 on the go.

If they do start with the Black swordsman arc, i wonder whether they will delve in the mystery that is the first page?

i gets it now.

At first i thought they should probably make it smaller to lower the cost of the thing, but I'm not sure they can, I forgot its quite the graphical power house. Its probably jam packed in there.

That just says that it could get bigger. Then the idiots at IGN speculated it could get smaller too.

all i said was the size was tentative

"Sony cautioned in their press release that the dimensions listed were tentative"

Seriously though, the PSP2 is way too big. It's almost as big as a Game Gear.

The size is still tentative

Yes, I was thinking about this some more and I think if anything, deadpool is probably the closest to strider while still not being a clone of strider.

If deadpool is a clone of anyone it's probably Cable

I'm pretty excited about the starting roster for Carpel Tunnel Syndrome 3. I also hope we get some good dlc ala stryder, Ken/M.Bison, captain commando, Juggernaut, cyclops/gambit, and venom/blackheart.
I really want Strider in the game as well, but i think that roster has made it clear that they don't want any clone characters. Strider and Dante are too alike, that goes as well for Ken/Ryu, Jaggernaut/Hulk and Blackheart/Dormmamu.
