CyberConnect2 along with Capcom is making that game.The problem with Asura's Wrath is that they haven't shown how much of a game it is.So far it's just cuts-sence with quick time events and if thats the case I'd rather just watch a CG movie and not have worry about failing at a QTE and constantly have to a worry about failing at the game.Though from Cyberconnect2's background it looks like it's going to be a beat em' up with QTE's, so God('s of  the east) of War.

There's a lot of developers that can make the game part of Berserk somewhat enjoyable but it's the story scene's I worry about.

I would say Yuke's and Sammy did quite a good job with the PS2 game. While it wasn't perfect I was happy with it for a series tie-in. I wouldn't mind seeing if someone like the team behind God of War or Shadow of the Colossus give it a go. But like you say, that's for another topic.

I'll give you that Team ICO might make something interesting(though i would assume there would be no cut-scenes) but its not really their style.I would be against SCE Santa Monica going anywhere near Berserk, the God of War series makes me cringe.But for a good game overall maybe the Sega team behind the Yakuza series...I dunno either :farnese:

I would have to agree that this was all suppose to be for the 20th anniversary and it slipped or when making it they realized that perhaps this can be more than just a promotion for the anniversary, so they held it back till they had done more work on the project and they were confident enough to say that this will be an anime of sorts . It just seems like a lot of work for a one week promotion of Vol. 35.

I didn't think so many would be excited. The manga already animates really well in my head. I was thinking this would be more for those who don't know about Berserk or who where to lazy read cause "What? it's in black and white and i gotta read...no way man :schierke:". I'm still gonna watch(probably buy it too) but I don't see how it can be better than the manga.Might be good for music though or more a cheery Berserk opening theme telling me to my glasses on.

Um I don't know I bought 7 packs from vol.4 and 8 from vol.5. But it's the one where Zodd is wielding 2 swords.

I bought 15 packs on Ebay and got a Zodd Holo Secret Illustration, I didn't realize they were so rare.

Is this game's multiplayer local only or Internet? If Internet, we should get an SKnet group started up.

It's local only which was something I was hoping they would change for US release but it didn't happen, the only Internet connectivity is the online shop to buy stuff that is rotated frequently and new quests that will be sent out once a week for a whole year.

Yea that's the one complaint of heard about this game.I mean the main character has a backstory but not the rest your party members, but that's where I will build your own fiction  :troll: , I dunno why but I feel like I'm going try to play the game with just 2 characters... Though I will probably feel to the pressure and add another part member

Sadly you can't , but you can change your characters; gender, height, hairstyle, hair color, face, skin color, and eye color. You can make new party members anytime to make a party of up to 4. Also every time you get new equipments it is visually represented. Here's some examples of characters out there.

Dragon Quest IX's release in the US is just under 2 weeks from now, for those of you who don't know DQIX is a turn-based RPG which recently did away with random battles. You can customize your main character as well as 3 other companions, it also has 4 player multi-player, where you can invite a friend with the game to join your party.I'm very excited for its release and hope some of you on the forum are as well.For more info you can go here

Which to skip a scene you have to press pause then click on skip scene THEN confirm it (pretty sure at least) - it's real annoying to do. They shoulda known people like me and just made it one button to instantly skip the scenes!

To skip a cut-scene , hold the right and left triggers (or R2 and L2) then press Back (or select) this should skip the cut-scene much faster.

I'm addicted to this game, there hasn't been a game that makes me loose track of time so badly. It's not deserving of the 40/40 from famitsu, just because one of the criteria is story, and it definitely does not have a 10/10 story(famitsu loosing more credibility with every major review), but the rest is great. Just finished all the Alfenheims (challenge rooms) and I thought that with the experience of passing the Alfeheims I would be ready for hard but man is hard....well hard. Usually games have terrible harder difficulties, all the enemies just take longer to kill and they swarm you with more and it just feels cheap, but in Bayonetta they throw later enemies to you a lot sooner, that and you take more damage, but the thing that has me taking more hits , is the fact that the timing of the regular angel attacks is different, much faster, i think i died 5 times in the prologue , so I suggest maxing out your life/witch power and finding all the weapons before trying.

Are we sure this will be a separate game, and not just a DLC-type thing?

The game designer (Yoshinori Ono) himself said it will be a separate game, supposedly the additions to the game were too much for DLC to handle. Though he also said it won't be a full priced game(I'm guessing $40).

People have discovered through some video and screens that characters will have selectable Ultra's, which is something I wanted from the first version, but more than anything else I want Q in the game
