Someone broke into my car sorry I just need to vent  :judo:

I don't really understand the gameplay mechanic for MGO. How is it dramatically different from Counter-Strike or any other tactical online shooters that also incorporate body damage? Why's it more frustrating in MGO?

Ok I think thats why you arent understanding the mechanic of MGO it shouldnt be compaires to CS or COD.  Mgo needs to be played at a slower pace its definetly not a run and gun but it could be if your just messing around. MGO in my opinion was definetly made to be played working with your team tho you dont really have to, but I see more people trying to work with each other in that game then lets say CS and or COD. What I find frustrating more then thos games is the slower movement tho there is a skill to make you go faster but its not that great.

I also feel like trying to react is alittle slow too but I might be more used to playing COD and stuff so trying to get kills is alittle hard unless your holding the aim trigger down the whole time.  Which all adds alittle frustration atleast on my part im not sure how everyone else feels on this.  But to answer the difference between this game and other FPS games a little better is that this is a 3rd person shooter with fps elements so you need to change how you play other then that there is no real difference Its just how you play.  I hope I helped if i didnt maybe I can try explaining better somehow if I can think of the words.

Hey Ghost, get me on your friends list and let's have a game. My name is Mr.Greed.
What's yours?

My psn name is Adam006 add me any time and on mgo my name is Adam610 or Adam61082. Im drawing a blank right now cause im really hot and just got home from work

Gantz came out the other day has anyone picked it up? I did since I liked the anime tho im sad about the end, and I have to say the cover of the manga is pretty nice.

MGO is alotta fun if you dont take it seriously.  I am not saying not to play to win and or mess up your team but for the most part you can get really frustrated when someone just appers and head shots you while you get them to their last bit of health.  Though its fair it sucks =( and the nades are useless tho im happy i finaly killed 2 people at the same time with them!. But the best is lying on your back and pretending your dead or hiding out in a box im just sad you can use a drum to hide in =(.

  You know it's funny,  I read your post and was intrigued by it, but I figured I knew just about everything that had  to do with MGS.  Man was I wrong, I strongly suggest you guys do too.  There's some info in there that is bound to shock you.

I only know what I know from playing the first game and reading mine sum ups of the other games.  So I have a feeling my mind will be blown to bits! when i get the time to explore what it has to offer.

Anyone download the awesome database from the psn? im gonna have to take a day and just relax reading all that.

Best game ever, though I kinda feel like im a poser since I only became a fan last year when I finaly beat mgs1 for the first time and only played about 3 or 4 hour of mgs2.  But im gonna run and get the esentals colloection already got port ops.  But oh man what a roller coaster I dont think any game will be as epic as this was.  Tottal play time 3 minutes shy of 21 hours.

Is it just me or does that new Judas Priest song "Visons" make you think of berserk? I always think of Gaddo making and or repairing the DS.

Im starting to think they just have no idea what there getting them self into. They probably just want something people can play online with kind like jumping on the bandwagon.

Oh darn thought I said what they were my mistake. They're for any I guess Konami online games but mostly as far as I know for anyone who is gonna play the MGO beta when they reserved MGS4. Getting the 12 digit code isn't enough since you need to make a Konami ID and game ID for the game itself which sucks, so the ID boards got an overload of traffic and this guide is to help get passed the overload a little bit.

Taken from a Gamespot thread. If anyone has been having any trouble with getting an ID from Konami this guide makes it a little better, it worked for me though the email confirmation I'm a little iffy about since it wasn't a link in the email and I just copied and pasted but here it is.

Guide: How to get a Konami ID within 20 mins

Postby ACE on Today, 16:41

I tried all day and got soooo **bleep** off with errors and timeouts, but I used my noggin and have created a way to get in within a few minutes (if you're lucky) and a maximum of 20 mins (if you're unlucky)

* You need Firefox
* Goto Tools Add ons, Get Extensions
* Find the AutoFormer add on and install it and restart the browser
* gotohttps://id.konami.netand click register (Blue button on the left) - might take a while but keep trying
* Enter your date of birth and go to edit in Firefox menu and find AutoFormer, click Save all fields - this will now save you entering the DOB again if you need to come back to this stage
* click next
* Wait until the terms show before clicking next again
* fill out the entire form carefully, don't rush you have all the time in the world. Make sure you don't use capitals in username, and make sure game id password is all numbers. Make sure phone number and postcode have no spaces
* now before clicking next click edit again and AutoFormer>save all fields
* Click next, it'll probably fail due to time taken to complete the form. Don't worry
* Start again, this time your DOB should be auto inserted click next to terms, click next to form, click next to confirmation click next and you're done - SIMPLE!!!

If you get kicked out at any point, start again. The point is you don't have to keep re-inserting data and this gives you a MUCH higher chance of getting through before timeouts.

Hope it works for you.

Edit - WHEN you get in, remember to click the link in the confirmation email within 72 hours to view & agree to the T's & C's

All this info was from solid_slug of the official ps3 eu forum so all props go to him and the other website.

It did seem really intersting, I think the EU release is in english I think any way. It looks alot like the Wizard of Oz or atleast it gives a small feeling of it which to me makes it alittle more interesting I wish I could play it. :judo:

I can't wait for Warhammer I wish it would come out a bit sooner. I really like the idea that you could march to a capital city and take it over for a set amount of time while the losers can't get into their city until that time is over!. :ganishka: Also like the fact that most of the good stuff you earn if not earn all of it instead of waiting for days or months for that notorious monster to appear to only have it stolen from you in 2 seconds. :judo:.

I havnt heard anything about the graphics but that would be a reason for such a long delay. But its kinda odd it looks pretty good from what i saw of the videos in the paris event oh well the better the polish the better a game should be i hope!. I have never seen or played Dark age but in the paris event videos they said they built on the ideas they already had from dark age and made them better i think in WarOnline, I think the keep siges are cloe to what Dark age was like.  Yeah I hear you guys with the time issue Im not sure if i'll even have time to play, I been haven work issues so not finding the right job blows, also the change of hours form on job to the other stinks. But i will try and make time since i been waiting for this game since 2k3.  Conan looks awesome but im alittle confused about it, is it like you play a single player game first then go into mmo? or is it all mmo?
