Anti-Yong'ing scans

...ok, ok, then...LOVE and PEACE...

Lovu and peacu! *grins and makes the little Vashu sign*

Heh... nice idea. Normally I loathe things like that, but it's a cool pic and for a good cause.

...for sure it is, my dear Fishbomb...in this moment of the world, all has to be LOVE and PEACE...

;)

now that I've seen 187... that smiling sk took the "shocking" right out of the sight of the beast holding caska by the neck.
at some times I just started laughing...
damn thats a funny picture

I had fun with the placement in some areas. In others there were just no other really 'good' corners.

We'll see what happens on Yongs page I guess.

since I've resolved not to go there (I dunno why, i never stick to resolutions anyway), did this work?

Yes, it worked. Yong had to find his scans by some other way. Maybe his Japanese translator scanned the episode for him, this time.

Japanese translator..? The translations he edited in for 187 sound just like Cronus' translations...

Japanese translator..?

Well, he talks about a "Yamashita Eiji", and I thought it was true (maybe this guy isn't a product of Yong's imagination  ;D ), since he had translations for the first volumes and episodes 184, 185, etc on his site...

I just checked them, and you're correct.
Quite a few little mistakes ("I say that every time", for example) or localization choices ("if we do this...") can be found in both translations, and some new mistakes seem to originate from Cronus' translation ("there is an even greater use for her" -> "she can be used as something even more important").
I really don't think it's a mere coincidence...

Under NO circumstances are you allowed to reuse the Translation. All Translation works are done so by Eiji Yamashita and Yongkiat K.

Yeah, sure...

What an asshole.

Don't know if you've noticed, but Yong has put up a login/password system for viewing the scans/translations on his site. To get a login/pass you have to mail him about it and "prove" that you do own the mangas that you wish to view the translations/scans for. Don't know how this works, but maybe it's a direct action from Yong's side after the whole paradiselost deal, with Hakensusha mailing Walter and so on. Still don't know if it's actually legal, but it's kindof a good attempt at least. Let's see how it works out

Exactly. Since he's already translating it himself *cough* why not at least put up the .txt translations as well as the images. Or just the translations, would be fine by me at least. Maybe one should write to him and suggest it...

we've suggested text translations from the beginning. see what good it does with him?
so i wouldnt bother wasting your time to email him about it, when he'll just ignore it. besides, i think he offers text trans of it as well(which is really pointless to offer scans now...)

I wish I could've seen the full translation - but he only sent me 7 pages worth to me...anyone here have all of it? I'd like to take a lookee...if not that's not a big deal. I may just distribute translations through a mailing list if they continue to steal the work...what do you guys think?

Yeah, I would love to see text translations too. I can borrow the manga from a friend until I can afford to grab them from Omachabox. But my japanese isn't the best and I already have a pile of manga I have to translate...any help is always welcome.

Oh for a decent Japanese to English translation progam *sigh*
