A mixed-race British mom gave birth to twins recently - one of each.

No, not a boy and a girl. Two girls - one black, the other white.

[...]

While very rare, the phenomenon is not unknown, though it does entail a very particular combination of circumstances at the moment of conception. First, both parents must be of mixed race. Second, the twins must be fraternal (each conceived from a separate egg fertilized by separate sperm) as opposed to identical (both conceived from a single egg and sperm). Third, each sperm and egg must carry the genes for a particular skin color (i.e., black/black or white/white).

The odds against it are indeed a million to one.

Wow, that would be weird.

"That's my twin sister."
"NO IT'S NOT."

I'm expecting they'll have quite a career in porn once they hit 18. So many possible titles.

I like your thoughts and I would like to subscribe to your newsletter. :carcus:

I had to share this with two other people when I read it. What struck me as kinda funny was that the guy in the picture looks like my boyfriend's older brother. Both my boyfriend and his bro are also mixed.

"Umm...guys...as interesting as this "Black and White Twins" picture is; it's nothing more than a well done fake. See for yourselves....take the image into Adobe PhotoShop and Adjust the levels, particularly the middle arrow moving it to the right. You will see some white areas of the page darken around the baby on the left's head and daddy, while others do not, cleary showing evidence of different pictures being "cut and pasted" together. So it's a fake....a very time consuming fake because the blend tool was obviously used to merge pictures of different babies together. SORRY. I was just as intrigued as you....I hate to ruin the fun, but I thought I should point this out."
