Metalbolt

I'm on TV, so I must be True!
Nice displays :carcus:

Though I have the say the contrast of having berserk stuff so close to friends stuff...hmm, part of by brain just leaked out of my ear.

Here is my new display of Berserk. Bought 4 of these cabinets last week. Put 3 up so far, ill put the other one up when my Slann and Berserker statues get here. I also bought some frames, going to put the manga scenes for each statue in.

Glad to see there are already pics with him out of the box Kenji-kun! He was just one of my many statues I could not fit anywhere and I kind of needed the money. Thanks again and great stuff! I like the pictures that match your statues. :guts:

Thanks again bro for this statue.
In France, volume 11 of the manga has been released this month... so I really like this statue (The battle with Wyald is very impressive ! We can clearly feel the power and anger in Guts).

Hey guys need some help finding some lighting for my cabinets. I was gonig to use these:

IKEA LINK

But they are halogen and put off a butt load of heat, I was wondering if anyone knew of anything similiar to these but that wouldnt put off a lot of heat. There is a hole cut in the top of the cabinets to allow wires to run out.

I don't know grendelrt, sorry.
But consider the fact that you can put a light bulb (a lamp) outside of the cabinet, on the top. While it isn't inside, the heat isn't a problem to take care of (I use this method to light my statues... and beleive me, the light reveals the total, extreme beauty of the Art of War resins).

By the way, have you seen those pictures :

So much AMAZING :isidro:

I am not able to read/understand the writting caracters.
Who is the man ? "Just" a collector ? Where is this place ? Is there somewhere on internet where we can find some High Res pics ?

Kenji, those are pics of the actual ART OF WAR building. The display case are pictures of AOW's collection (which is why every statue/figure are there). That guy is probably a tourist that submitted pictures to berserkst.com from his trip to ART OF WAR.

All I know, is I'm going there when I go back to Japan! =P

I love how you call it a building. :void: It's just a store my friend.

That Guts on Horse with the tattered cape is really amazing. I wonder if it is a kit that one of their artists painted.

EDIT: Look at the blood on the sword of the Lost children. Obviosly different than mine. There is a kit of that out there though it is 1/6 scale and this doesn't look that big. I wonder if some (or all) of the items in the case are painted prototypes.

OOOOooo, shame on me, I haven't clearly notice the picture which shows the entrance with "Art of War" written on it.
Maybe "to much" for a collector, I've thought.
The lady has to be one of Art of War staff

DirectDK, thanks.
Me too, I wish I could visit this room and see the statues from my own eyes.

You can find versions of it for sale on Yahoo Japan auctions from times to times. I've always found it much cooler than the standard version.

I have received my Armored Berserker bust.
Honestly, you should BUY IT NOW !!!
It is a wonderful, marvellous bust. A must have (therefore the price is very decent for the quality of this great masterpiece)

Hey Kenji!

Thanks for the pics! I know I've been slacking lately with updating my site with the more recent AOW stuff so your pictures are very much appreciated. Maybe I'll get to mine one day!

You have no idea of how much I am waiting for your new update ^^
But take your time, it has to stay a pleasure and not an obligation

Ender!

You got a pretty SERIOUS collection going there man! That's awesome. I see you have that cereberus project's kit too (great piece, I'm a fan of that sculpt myself). Did you paint that one up yourself?

And it looks like those ikea cases worked out for you! Congrats on the gorgeous display!

Whouhouuu, that's great for sure ! Thanks for the pics.
Hey EnderZero, have you placed a light bulb outside of the display cases but near them ?
Believe me, the statues look far more beautiful when lighting !

hey guys,
derek, im still a noob when it comes to painting so i wussed out and got the prepainted one from hobbyfan.com
thanks for the compliment man, coming from you it means alot :guts:

kenji, i actually bought the nons and drilled them in the ceiling of the displays. after taking pics of the LE skullknight i understood what a difference lighting can make. in the pics i have my ceiling light is on and the camera flash stilll went off so that may be some of the light that you see.

sorry if some of the closeups seem fuzzy, i used my sisters telescopic lens so i was literally lying on the ground trying to get things in focus.

er... I believe there ARE lightbulbs relatively close by. You shouldn't blame a low exposure shot on inadequate lighting.

However I do believe some statues are best viewed in the dark. :guts: ok I'll shutup

Its a very impressive collection, Ender.
