If this is the final chapter/arc, what could even happen in an ''exile in the east'' for a good ending?

I don't know if this has been asked before (newish here, search didn't get any results)

So (from what I remember, please correct me if I'm wrong), the ''Easter Exile Chapter'' is the final Berserk chapter/arc. What could possibly happen in the east? Is Guts going to Falconia later on after some weird magic training brand purification arc (whatever just happened in the new episode) for a final battle where he magically wins somehow? If that does happen, that wouldn't really be an ''eastern exile'' because....well, that would mean going to the west. Are we gonna get some kind of even better paradise in wherever we're being led next in #382? But would that even be a happy or ''bittersweet'' ending?

Maybe with how things are going we'll end up with something like this? (Falconia teleports east so that it can all be in the east of course)

Yes, the current chapter (Eastward Odyssey) is the final chapter for the series. That's according to Kouji Mori in an interview with DaVinci in 2023. The relevant line is quoted below, but bear in mind that there have been a few course-corrections from Mori and Studio Gaga about their statements on such things in the past:

"...We had also talked a lot about how Griffith appears at the end of the "Fantasia" arc, and then the story really begins in the final chapter."

If you haven't already, check out this thread where I've collected notable things Mori has said about the continuation and the future of Berserk, as he knows it.

Anyway, as for the future, I don't expect very much from "The East" other than them amassing some sort of anti-Falconian force. I think they're in the process of reconciling the "eastern" group now.

Personally, this is absolutely not the trajectory I expected things to go in before Miura's death. But it does seem to me, based on what these puppets on the page have been saying, that they want a big Falconia showdown fight, army vs army. If that's the case, I would imagine it will be astral creatures + bakiraka/Kushan + Guts' band vs apostles and Falconians. Sounds shitty, honestly.

Sounds amazingly Shonenish, IMHO. It should be published in Shonen Jump instead of "Young Animal". Has very Naruto feeling to it. "All of us" vs "All of them".

I am still hurting that I will never know Skull Knight and Void's past. Not perhaps even a fake one.

Well it's all based on what Silat said at the end of Ep 376 (WE WILL ATTACK THE FALCON OF LIGHT), which is honestly the last time any direction for the future has been provided in this thing.
