I love YaBB 1 Gold!
Listen, this is getting out of hand.
Oliver, you're like 10 times smarter than the guy, so just say what everyone knows to be true:
"I am right, you are wrong, end of discussion."
I admit, I'm pretty much at fault for this flame war (I'm the one who simply HAD to bring up the fact that Guts' name was being spelled wrong), so I feel responsible to be the one to state, that it has indeed gone more then a bit far.
Paradise, I don't care what you say, your English is quite far from perfect. I admit, neither is mine, but I am a native speaker of English (it's my first language, I was born in the United States, it's the only language I speak fluently), and as such, I think I have a right to say, that your English is pretty bad. I can't understand a thing you say half the time.
I've heard you say that "European English" is different from "American English", and this is very true. The first time my friend from England asked me if I "lived in a flat", I said to him "flat what?". But the fact is, in grammar, there simply isn't THAT much variation.
Your English is most certainly not perfect.
Normaly I wouldn't try and bash someone for having imperfect English. I understand how hard it is to learn another language, but you constantly implying, and flat out insisting that your English is perfect is getting on my fucking nerves.
