She thinks that he indeed has surhuman strength. She wonders if that's the result of him staying in the "Insterstice", where mind may affect matter, or (something else?)... Then, she looks at "that shadow attached to the sword"...

In japan the sword is considered the soul of the swordman: Could it be that she see a shadow on Guts' soul instead?
