Mech Warrior 5 (reboot)

Well just stated a few days ago. I remember playing Mech Warrior 2 with my friends via modem! Those were the day's, much simpler times!

I read about the new MechWarrior yesterday and that was awesome already, but MechWarrior 4 free with all its extensions? That's what I call a great developer.

Smart, too. I haven't been interested in Mechwarrior since 2, back in the mid 90s. But FREE?! They've got my attention.

I feel this is not getting enough love. With that I just found out thanks to a fellow goon that the entire Mech Commander series was actually released for free a few years ago! Just got done downloading Mech Commander 2!

That sums this up for me. I looooved Mech Warrior 2... but I haven't been able to rekindle the magic since then. True story: I used to GM the Mech Warrior tabletop RPG for friends at school during lunch. Geeky, but those were some good times.

My other problem is that you need a good joystick to really enjoy those games fully and they aren't exactly cheap.
