Fun with MIG welding!!
« on: August 29, 2002, 07:09:21 PM »
i work at a metal fabricating factory (farm equipment) so i can get access to cheap metal and use any of the tools.
and i love berserk!!
so, i want to make Guts sword. im probly gonna make the one that he has for most of the anime, b4 the ds.
it seems the least heavy, i dont really want it to use, mainly to hang on my wall (with really tough hooks)

has this ever been done?
what kind of metal should i use?
and any tips or info would be great, thx  :)

  • If we do not find them soon, we shall be of no use to them, except to sit down beside them and show our friendship by starving together                                                                      -Gimli

The only metal that can be used for this feat is the legendary adamantium. Except no subtitutes.

I have yet to find a 'guide to make huge-ass swords', but stick with me and I will.  ;)

You die first, get it? Your friends might get me in a rush but not before I turn your head into a canoe. What's it gonna be?

You could probably look back through some of the posts, there seem to be periodic debates about the Dragonslayer's dimensions.  :)
