I wrote this two years ago, and haven't read it since, but it somehow found its way into print and then online without me having much of anything to do with it. I'd rather have the articles I've done on Discommunication or Matsumoto Taiyou online, which are getting on five months and two months old, but I guess this is better than nothing.
Anyway, while I'm sure I would write a different article today, this is what I thought of Berserk two years ago, when I was doing all those highly inaccurate translations.
