That sounds like a great idea. :) At 1/6 scale too is just icing on the cake.

Your Guts is really amazing. What you did is incredible...

If you manage to finish it, your second project will be pretty hard too, but concerning your skills it should just be a matter of time :carcus:

That was meant for berserkberserk asking him about the price as well since I would also like to know.

Re: 1:6 scale Hundred Man Killer - Guts (New Pics Updated 09 Oct)

Dear All,

Thank you for your interest.

I will release 20 pieces of this statue, the price is USD170 for resin and USD320 for painted version (both not including shipping fee, 10 in resin & 10 with painted).

Both versions will release before the end of Dec and come together with the base & leather part.

I could paint any color you want for the cape and the completed photos will upload very soon.

Please reconfirm your order and mention which version you are looking for.

Thanks again

The sculpt is fantastic! Very accurate. Great work. : )

Hey when you guys order a sculpt unpainted do you do the painting yourself? I'm just curious because I don't know what kind of paint to use. I've tried plain acrylic before and it comes out really blah.

It just takes practice. 1/6 customizers use acrylic paint all the time and some like to use pastels (chalk like ones) sanded to dust and used on top of the acrylic (after it dries of course) for shading/weathering. Some of the work I've seen looks very realistic.

confirmed painted one. (I can't paint and don't know any one that can)

What color is everyone going to color his cape? True to the scene would be a blueish/teal color, right?

For whatever reason I usually picture his cape red and I like it better. But I kinda want it true to the scene... hmm.. what do you guys think?

Huh, that sounds interesting using pastels on top after the painting. I'm excited to see what these look like painted!

I'm personally a fan of red. Just a personal preference.

Here's an example of using acrylics and pastels (not my work):

Don't really want to derail the thread, so that's why I just posted links instead of the actual pics. Anyways, The painter is making a new tutorial soon and I'm going to wait until he's finished it before I start painting the skin tones. It might be easier to stick with just acrylics though.

I also want to say that berserkberserk's fee for kit+painting is a very good price. :) A lot of good painters will charge around $350-1000US at TheClubHouse depending on how complicated the kit is.
