I did find this one to be a bit jarring, when not in motion
But that could just be down to having seen it in motion and knowing where to look.

All of them look just so good No off faces, poses or anything...
I especially like this one:
because it seems to me that the CG developed a lot. You can't see a big difference between the CG armor and the drawn face - maybe, almost drawn? Because it seems to me, that the head itself is CG, but the face was drawn with hand.
But I'm actually also a bit disappointed, I was hoping for a shot of Foss... I'm still worried about what will they do with the story, if they alter it like this
Walter said:*shrug* looks fine to me. But it's not the visuals that worry me with this adaptation.

Yeah, yours kind of looked like crap though. Method: Standard printscreen, plus some minor fidgeting with Photoshop to remove the low-contrast filter that comes from any compressed video. I also crop out the stupid Japanese banter text streaming over the images. As the ones I posted don't appear to be as good in quality. Either way, they're looking good.

The 1997 anime is not the standard for correct colorings... Casca's skin has never been that dark. Check out how she's depicted the covers of the manga volumes:Irvine said:Did casca use skin bleach? I don't think it looks good. Also it seems that her hair has another color. Too bad.
Again you guys, I'm pretty sure this movie has bigger issues than hair color.Truder said:What about Casca's lighter hair color? I don't really mind the change but I'd like it to be darker.

I'm okay with her hair color, but I do think her skin is too light, but it was too dark in the '97 anime. Seems like no one got it right so farIrvine said:Did casca use skin bleach? I don't think it looks good. Also it seems that her hair has another color. Too bad.
