Always great to see anything Miura does in color these days But I actually prefer Volume 12 to this. This cover is a little too literal a depiction of the scene—too many vivid details present—rather than the allegorical or even abstract representation of the original.

I love the original cover as well but.... I don't know. This is just a terrifying image with the crimson beherit screaming. I kinda dig it.

And even though its an epic freaking cover for the movie its a bit "too much" as a cover for vol 12, the original fits the manga much better with the more cryptic and mystical theme.

Both seem to come with the first press jacket... The first 2 movies I bought from CD Japan were 6800 yen (like the 2nd link) and came with all the extras. Seems like VPXV-71221 also comes with the music soundtrack, ala this link: http://www.berserkfilm.com/news/?p=1221
Am I missing something?

Well, the VPXV-71221 have all the Extra: Cover by Miura, CD of Sagisu, a extra disc for the R18+.....so, for now the only Extra for this Limited Edition seems to be the extra price XDDirectDK said:
