I guess it's neat that they use some Berserk names in it. But, uh... I'm not really a fan of this. That album cover is hilarious though! :ganishka: Are these guys serious?

After reading through the comments from the first video, apparently the band did several songs for Berserk, or of Berserk.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TBTzPNvtmB4 - This one, "Victory," I felt was a deal better than the first. Its lyrics can be read Here

I particularly liked

Extremely skillful
Extremely strong
Oh, the slayer of a hundred men
Raid leader Guts
Too damn tough
Oh, for anyone to handle

And the other I found was "Iron Hand," http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Nhar5FvWfw w/ lyrics Here

It's Power Metal. It's cheesy and embarrassing by default. And yes, they are serious.

Finnish female-fronted metallers BATTLE BEAST will release their third studio album, "Unholy Savior", on January 9, 2015 in Europe and January 13, 2015 in the U.S. via Nuclear Blast.

"I thirst to go further as a human being and the music on this album represents a part of the ongoing spiritual journey — that's what I tend to I call it — which is my road onward," says BATTLE BEAST guitarist and vocalist Anton Kabanen. "Music-wise, the songs have been expanded to a wider area as an effort to call out emotions close to those I myself had during the times of birth of these songs."

He adds: "Like always, I wrote songs about the series 'Berserk', as well, and the reason behind writing songs about that particular series is that I can strongly relate to that, especially to certain characters and to their way of thinking and feeling."

"Unholy Savior" track listing:

01. Lionheart
02. Unholy Savior
03. I Want The World….And Everything In It
04. Madness
05. Sea Of Dreams
06. Speed And Danger
07. Touch In The Night
08. The Black Swordsman
09. Hero’s Quest
10. Far Far Away
11. Angel Cry

BATTLE BEAST will embark on a European tour with Swedish metallers SABATON in January.

BATTLE BEAST's self-titled sophomore album entered the official chart in the band's home country of Finland at position No. 5. Released in Europe on May 17, 2013 via Nuclear Blast Records, the CD was produced and mixed by the band at JKB Studios in Helsinki and mastered by Mika Jussila at Finnvox Studios. The cover artwork was created by Claudio Bergamin (HALFORD, ARJEN A. LUCASSEN, MAGICA).

BATTLE BEAST in 2012 parted ways with lead singer Nitte Vänskä and replaced her with Noora Louhimo.

In an interview with Metal Divas, Noora explained how she ended up fronting BATTLE BEAST: "[In] September [2012], I got a call from Anton [Kabanen, guitar] that they want me to join BATTLE BEAST. I had heard their music and loved the sound and the vocals, so the next day I called Anton and said I'm in.

"Anton found me by accident on YouTube when he was searching for the new vocalist. He had been looking for a vocalist — male or female; [it did not] matter. The only thing that mattered was can that [he or she could] sing his songs without compromises.

"I've been singing since I was 4 years old. While being a huge fan of heavy metal of '80s and a teenager, I had some classical singing lessons when I was 16 years old. Then at the age of 19, I started studying music in pop/jazz line. At the same time, I started doing some jam sessions at bars. There I found my first band (ADMIRAL OCTOPUS) in the blues bar. We used to play rock and blues music from '60s-'70s and Janis Joplin was the reason I got the rasp in my voice. After ADMIRAL OCTOPUS, in 2011, I took part in a singing competition ('Wanna Be A Rock 'N' Roll Star') at Henry's Pub of Tampere and won it with Janis Joplin's 'Piece Of My Heart'. That's how my single 'Relax' was born."

BATTLE BEAST's debut album, "Steel" — which was originally released in Finland in 2011 via Hype Records — was made available internationally on January 27, 2012 through Nuclear Blast Records.

I was at a concert of Sabaton one year ago, and they were the main support band. Didn't know anything about them or Berserk at that time. Now I like both :p ... Sucks that the -berserk- songwriter was kicked from the band :(

Anyway he is making his own band right now called "The Beast in Black" they haven't made an album yet but they've done some tours. Can't wait until the album comes out.

If you want to check them out!

A slightly smaller band did a song about Berserk. A lot calmer than power metal though

Nice one! This songs fits a lot cause of the dramatic feel of Berserk.
Personally I think Berserk's topic falls more into the power metal category musically because of the Dark Fantasy stuff. But maybe I am biased because I am a metal guy.. hahaha

"Tanookie suit" awesome name first off! yeah that post metal sound is not my favorite, but it was good. That power metal stuff had me dying at work. I laughed so hard! thanks for the links though!
