The series is set behind the scenes at the fictional Atlantis Cable News (ACN) and centers around anchor Will , his new executive producer Mackenzie MacHale, newsroom staff Jim, Maggie, Sloan, Neal, Don, and their boss Charlie Skinner.

This has the potential to be the best political show on HBO since The Wire.

The opening diatribe by Jeff Daniels character was awesome.

Hopefully the pacing is a little bit better than the Wire's. I enjoyed the Wire because it was so realistic, but I was never really felt like I needed to tell people about it.
