Young Animal's 20th anniversary festival

Not sure if this is the right place to post this news, so admins, please feel free to move this topic to whichever section of this forum that is appropriate.

There will be a 2 days long convention/festival held on August 25th and 26th by Hakusensha, to commemorate the 20 years of publication of the Young Animal magazine. Though I don't understand Japanese language, it seems to me that Hakusensha will be doing a retrospective on some of the manga that have been published in that magazine since its inception. Including Berserk, which will be covered at 4:30 pm on 8/25/2012.

With all the manga and the semi-nude front cover pinup models, looks like it'll be fun event. Anyone residing in Japan should go there, if they can :guts:

Neat, I guess. But Young Animal kind of sucks. It's just a means to an end for getting Berserk published. This event is only really noteworthy since Berserk is the longest-running series it publishes.

The event itself isn't all that interesting for us, but I notice they've put up the covers of every single YA ever published. Pretty neat for collectors.
