Pretty incredible feat. I hope he got a lifetime supply of Red Bull for that stunt.

Halfway through the descent, as the monitor guy was waiting with baited breath on Felix to speak, I really wished he had cracked a joke: "WELCOME TO THE XANDER ZONE!"

I remain more impressed by his predecessor, who did almost as well with a lot less. This feels too much like a marketing stunt to me (probably because that's exactly what it is).

I'm with you on this one. I think the only reason I saw this was looking for what kind of footage we would get in the end result. Here's the headcam footage:
