Re: 1/6 New project - who's the next???

Do you use a 3D printer to have the pieces in hand before modeling/sculpting?

Seems that this matrix cutting machine works very well, and makes very accurate shape/size items. Fits good for mechanical parts ;)
Nice job so far! :ubik:
Now you need a 3D CG designer to make all the body parts :guts:

Eh? Matrix cutting machine? Really? I thought they are used in making keys? Is there a new advanced machine that uses 3D model as base??
Can you put a link to pic of the machine? I'm really curious!

I still don't believe 3d printer can replace manual sculpture

Nobody said that.

The pieces printed look nice but aren't they a bit too thick?

I was waiting for these pictures so bad !
The wait was worthy.
I like the overall, the pose, the proportions, the wind effect on the dress and cloak is perfect (great waves), all the details, and the matrix cut armor and items fits well on the statue ;)
Maybe the gloves should be more detailed on the hands/fingers, they seem a bit to smooth for leather.

Good Work berserkberserk!
