Remember this old thing? IncantatioN reviewed it last year, and it's headed to the US courtesy of Viz later this month (4/16).

Takehiko Inoue (Vagabond, Slam Dunk, Real) is one of Japan’s leading manga artists, and he has long been obsessed with the architecture of Antoni Gaudi. Pepita is a travel memoir about Inoue’s travels to Catalan, the people he meets, and the stunning architecture he experiences. It’s also an art book of the highest quality, constructed and framed by a leading practitioner of Japanese comics.

Wow, gorgeous! I'll admit that I've been out of the loop in terms of Inoue for a while, but I might pick this one up. It seems like Inoue is big on travel.

Hell YES! I can finally read everything translated :guts:. Thanks for the news, Walter.

He was in Paris quite recently ^_^ - http://www.skullknight.net/forum/index.php?topic=10392.msg220153#msg220153 and was in London around Aug/Sept for the Paralympics games, Wheelchair Basketball.

Yeah, I'd say Viz has really done right by Inoue. Now... If we could only get Berserk over there... :daiba:

Definitely something to consider. How are Viz's translators versus Dark Horse's, better/ worse/ the same?

Imagine VizBig versions of Berserk! I remember talk of how it's weird for Vagabond, in the sense how the end of a volume sets you up for the next or is a good end (if we're talking individual volumes) versus a VizBig end where it may not necessarily translate well to the next VizBig volume (wait, I hope I didn't imagine that hahaha sorry if I did, 1st off day in 7 weeks). SO yeah, coming back to my point actually, how well do you see it working for Berserk?
