Idea...

This is a dumb idea but what the hell...I was thinking about posing as an angry parent and emailing Bill O'Reilly (ultra-right wing guy on Fox News who always complains about the media and such) and saying that Berserk was a show my children watched, and that it was violent and sexual. If this were to be done in the right way, it might make it on T.V. or something, then Berserk would get a little publicity! Stupid idea? Of course!! But what is there to lose?? Who is with me?!

I agree, but I lament Uriel has a sound argument people who do not understand Berserk could also degrade it and I would not be able to handle that

Yes... can you think of how much flaming every current member on this forum would show towards them? The idiocy they would produce would lower our intelligence... anyways, still publicity is publicity. But do it to some other wimp I doubt thatd work on someone whose not quite famous.

Well it is worth a shot. Or maybe we could ALL email at different times and say we are from different parts of the country! It could at least make the "What's annoying me now" part of the Pulse news show! And if we sent it to Pat Robertson maybe he'll complain about it on the 700 Club!

Errr... not quite yet. The Canadian Alliance is like a moderate Republican party with less religious rhetoric. Their platform is quite similar to that of the U.S. Republican Party. We haven't swung that far to the left yet. Alberta and the western provinces are still sympathetic to right-wing philosophy. We Canadians are like uptights conservatives compared to the beatniks and tree-huggers in Europe.
