It's the name of one of the gods from the Praxian and Orlanth Pantheons, he's the one who seperated the world of the dead and the living according to the myth. The Judge of the Dead, he's also called. Sometimes he is portrayed as a human whose face is a mirror.

Thanks. :D

And btw, the title of this episode isn't Ogre Soldier, check Grayword's post on the first page of this thread. (or see kuroi shinobi's reply above)

I guess the kanji "Ki(Oni)" might confuse Roberto because the same kanji was used for the word "Ogre" ,"Kyoki(oni)" in two letter kanji.
But that kanji is commonly used for some monsters or demonic things.
Anyway it's just my thought.
We can't know why Roberto put the word "ogre" for the title before he tells us. :P

Wait a minute, I just found out another possible origin of the name 'Daka'.

A small quote from this site:

"In folklore Daka (and Dakini) refers to imps who reside in forests skirting villages and are believed to entice their victims by calling [daka] them at night in alluring voices."

And according to a different source the word "Daka" literally means hero, or warrior.

Oh well, take your own pick. But if this Daka's face is in the shape of a mirror, we'll know where it's from. ;)

We can't know why Roberto put the word "ogre" for the title before he tells us. :P

I think Roberto simply reported what Babelfish told him to. ;D

The reason I created new acount has nothing to do with my mistake. I just simply don't like the old one besides I've already deleted the old account.  :P

From what I've read in the japanese site, the word consists of two kanji the first is "oni" which means demon the scond is "shi" means soldier. So I guess "onishi" would mean Demon Soldier. And for the word "daka" It's just another word for Demon Soldier.

I just want to correct my mistake actually the second kanji is pronounced like "hei" means Soldier not "shi". Sorry my mistake... :P
Even I,in my complete ignorance of japanese, know that shi means death however, in a way of speaking, a warrior exists that is called Shi

No, never played it actually. I've played AD&D and D&D3rde for a couple of years with a group of friends but that's all. I assume Daka Fal is one of the deities in RQ?

Anyway, to keep this post a bit more on topic, I hope they aren't sleeping at the mail office and will deliver my YA tomorrow, because I'm very excited to find out who this Daka fellow is and how the tapasa will be dealing with Rakshas. 8)

Here's one
http://www.sasugabooks.com/

I just started getting YA from them.  It takes roughly a week from the Japanese release date to receive the mag in the states.

And tell me truly, men of earth,
If all the soul-and-body scars
Were not too much to pay for birth.

because he hates you.
cant you tell?
We often went to the cinema, the screen would light up and we would tremble, but also, increasingly often, Madeleine and I were disappointed. The images had dated, they jittered, and Marilyn Monroe had gotten terribly old. We were sad, this wasn't the film we had dreamed of, this wasn't the total film that we all carried around inside us, this film that we would have wanted to make, or, more secretly, no doubt, that we would have wanted to live.
