Well, here is certainly something else than the beast... ;)

My first, ever. Done in gimp 2.0 (too poor to get Photoshop).

Made it a bit easier for myself by taking just one panel... and I'm still not certain if I'm satisfied with the current colors, especially when it comes to the mess that tries to resemble a sunset... Also, I guess I could have done something with the necklace, but decided not to. Looks silverly enough to me already.

I have a question: when I see the shaded areas in you people's pictures, am I seeing a darker area of a panel which is colored (using overlay)? Or are you'll using a different type of blending mode?

Hmm.. feeling like a thread-hijacker.

Well, in my colorisation they are mostly shaded areas of the original panel, using two layers of color, other multiply and other screen. At least this was what I did with Caska's skin.
