Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

well if we're talking bloopers, my personal favorite is when no one noticed that part of vader's suit was put on upside down in ep IV.

Best one in my opinion was when the stormtrooper hit his head while walking into the control room where Threepio and Artoo were hiding.

In the enhanced DVD you can actually hear a thud.

Heh. Definitely one of my favorites. I always wondered how they missed that. I'll have to buy the DVD so I can hear the loud thud.

I managed to see the movie Thursday morning thanks to my friend ordering tickets online. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see anyone dressed up(I was expecting to see Darth Vader or at least Chewbacca), although there were some random kids hitting each other with lightsabers.
Episode III was really great. I was impressed. The final duel between Obi-Wan and Anakin is probably the main reason why I'm going to try to go back and see it again.
John Williams created a great song for the battle and he even mixed in Duel of the Fates at one part.

I was disappointed with two things:

1. The Obi-Wan vs. Grievous duel was too short. Grievous was a maniac in the cartoon but he wasn't anything special in the movie. I guess I just expected more from him. They could have made it longer and a lot better.

2. Anakin pledging himself to Sidious was awkward and too hasty. Right after the part with Mace Windu(don't want to spoil anything), Anakin just automatically turned and joined with Sidious. There was no restraint or anything. It was too quick.

I saw it, much better than the previous two.

My favorite part: James Earl Jones voiced Vader.

This movie is flawed... Notice how Anakin was more powerful than his master when both of them fight Count Dooku, and yet our good friend General Kenobi was so powerful that he defeated General Grievious and cut his apprentice leg without suffering any injuries... So powerful is he...

Samuel L Jackson seem to be able to defeat Lord sidious but not Yoda...

Anakin got too cocky. Grievous wasn't that special.

Samuel L Jackson seem to be able to defeat Lord sidious but not Yoda...

It's the power of the pimpin' purple lightsaber.

That was the worst part of the movie when Vader spoke. Such bad voice acting.

Quiet you.

General Grievous was severely weakened from having his lungs crushed in the Clone Wars series. Thus his cough.

Palpatine through the fight with Windu. He needed Anakin to see what was happening. It was his final push at manipulating him and it worked. Yoda is the greatest Jedi at the time, Anakin still hadn't reached his potential. Yoda stood equally with the Emperor but ultimately lost.

I mean just look at the end of the Windu fight. Palpatine was moaning and groaning about being too weak and not being able to fight anymore. And yet after Anakin gave in and took Mace's arm off, Palpatine miraculously had the energy to finish him off. He was playing possum.

I agree when he screamed, "Noooooooooo" I just didn't buy it....it sounded cheesy. Obi-Wan sold his performance tho....by far he was the best actor in that movie and yes this film is def the best out of the new 3.
Oh and wtf was the deal with the training yoda gave to obi-wan at the end...suttin to to with Qui-Gon...I need an explanation. ???

Well, to be fair, so was most of the dialogue.

It's that dead Jedi showing up in blue thing from the original triology.

It was Palpatine's goofy "Nyowww!" to Windu that bugged me, more than Vader's silly one at the end.  Vader's Frankenstien dance was a bit much though.  What is WITH Lucas?  He lets a physical actor do terrible voice work (JarJar), and a 'face' actor do terrible physical work...  They just should NOT have put Hayden in that suit.

Yeah, He should have put some huge guy like the original Vader in the suit. Hayden Christensen just can't loom properly.

I can't believe people are bothering to point out "flaws" in this movie.

It was absolutely awful from start to finish.

So when you were 6 years old, you walked away after Empire Strikes Back drinking a cocktail? And hopping into your horse and carriage you told the driver, "IT WAS MERELY ENTERTAINING..." ?

Yeah, if you count random visual stimulation as "entertainment."

Or, I guess you could argue it's so hilariously bad that it's entertaining, but that's something you enjoy after it's over. Honestly, I've never quite seen a movie that was such a complete and unintentional parody of itself.

I mean, Spaceballs is a better film; to the point that comparing the two is insulting... to Spaceballs.

no one is trying to say that Episode III can even compare to the greatness that is the original movies. BUT when you watch Episodes I and II, George Lucas's newest attempt looks like pure genius. on its own, the movie is shit. you can't do that. you watch it to fill in the holes and see lucas play with his newest toys. the acting is bad (it's always bad); the plot is bad (he has never been able to write good dialogue); and the computer animation is over the top (surprised?). i don't see how the horribleness of this movie is a shock to anyone. i mean the things stands for R.O.T.S. for god's sake!
