Golden artificial arm... done like a pro.

I would call it "Hell Hawk" but you need a bottom jaw to the skull.

Very slick looking, now I know what to aim for. Are you basing this off of a Berserk pic? Also, is this your own Space Marine chapter or Emperor's Champion or what?

it was supposed to be an ultramarine at first, but then it evolved into this "Omegan Hawk", as i call him.]

A champion? maybe, or just a really cool veteran/hero.

i based the pose on Guts, in volume...err, i forget. He was facing forward, and held the dragonslayer a little like this.

Vol 22, ch3, pg 55; When guts was fighting with zodd on the hill of swords.

The stance might not be the same, but the way he is holding the sword is.

Man, I'm really inspired by this. What tools did you use? Blur, Camel-hair brush, dodge, etc.?

smudge, various brushes (though i wouldn't know which one is camel hair) with varying opacities. Dodge set at "highlights" gives a nice effect, too.

for the scratched-off paint on the armor, i just used a white round brush at one pixel. and just scribbled.
