Gambino based off Rutger Hauer...

I highly think that Gambino's facial characteristics are based off of Rutger Hauer. It is known that Miura was a fan of Flesh and Blood, which stars Rutger Hauer. Anybody else think this?

You are probably right, since I think it was said Gut's looks was based on a guy in "flesh and blood".

If I remember correctly, Guts was supposed to look like Rutger Hauer.

I agree that he does look kinda like Gambino

I'm with you guys, he looks more like Gambino then Guts.

However I remember reading an interview a while back - how Miura was influenced by Rutger Hauer - in "Flesh and Blood" and "Salute of the Jugger". The latter, Hauer plays the lead role and loses an eye in game-combat.
