I colored this picture for fun

I was wondering how I would go about coloring guts' mouth

Red would fit better, since most of the picture is already red.

Tough call. Since the art is intended to be printed in black and white it's tough to color, especially the linework on this one. If you color his mouth black, you'll lose the cool linework...Hmmm...I think plain red would be too flat. Why not try a really dark red in the back of his mouth where most of the linework is, and fade it to a bit lighter red (not pink) around his tongue??
