Opie said:what do we know about Silat? I've not been blessed with the manga other than what Darkhorse has given to me so I'm alittle in the dark about this guy. Any one have the answers I seek?
My prediction:Opie said:Thanks alot. That's a nice peice of information and you have me thanks.
So we have an ALMOST neuteral character running around in the shadows plotting his own little rise to power? What are your guys predictions for the character with what we know? Joining Guts and his family, falling in with Griffith and the Hawks? Being killed off? You boys would know more than me.
Void Swordsman said:Yeah, I think he will join Guts.
Kagami said:I have a question fellas, I noticed that after the Tapasa fought Zodd, there were only two hanging around the rest of the time. Are we to understand that 2 of the 4 died fighting Zodd?
Vaxillus said:I wonder if the Tapasa will survive the series? They don't seem to be excessively important, but considdering their fighting abilities they'd have to fight someone pretty tough to get killed.
-rob- said:Yeah throughout the manga he quickly became 1 of my favorite charectors and I had a few hopes of him alligning with Guts.
fuxberg said:who the hell is Tapasa?
DefaultJ!! said:Wouldn't be surprised if one or two of them bit the dust, though.
Aazealh said:if you pay attention to the symbols on their foreheads, those that fought Rakshas in Shet, trying to get to Griffith, are the same than those that are with Silat in Wyndham.
fuxberg said:who the hell is Tapasa?
Aazealh said:Rakshas is reportedly a banned member of the Bakiraka clan, and Silat and the Tapasa fought him twice, the first time was in Shet, where Griffith freed various Midlandians (including Sonja), and was joined by most of his apostle army (with a grand entrance by Grunberd, Locus and Rakshas).
Rakshas didn't kill Silat and his men when he dropped by in Wyndham because he was leading them to where he wanted to show the horrendous method Emperor Ganishka use to create his dakas.-rob- said:Howcome Rakshas ran from Silat? I mean Rakshas could of easily defeated him couldn't he?
Jhot obs said:Seeing Ganishka's sorcery (and later his fog form) was a revelation to Silat and IMO that's what was Rakshas' purpose. Silat is the prince of the Bakiraka and what he saw may affect future decisions he makes as the leader of the clan they all have a connection to in some way.
-rob- said:Is there a Silat action figure made by Art of War? I know there's statues, but is there any action figures?
Aazealh said:There's a mini-figure, part of the Mini Berserk Volume III, but no real action figure. The statue is still available to order on AOW's site, by the way.
